I need to make a decision of whether to get the Samsung N105 or the Samsung R220. Both look good, but would like an opinion. THANKS!

First cell I've ever had, so I can't give a great deal of comparison info. But I don't seem to get the best reception, even in "covered" areas. This is likely a problem with VoiceStream, and not with my phone. I know I get better reception with this phone than others have with the same provider. But I still have to get on my roof at home to get a weak signal. I'm currently trying to find the more advanced antennae that are compatible with my N105, but am not having a great deal of luck. Can anyone help?

Pro:
1. Excellent "interface" program and design, very easy to use compare to other phones. I like the program of being able jump or short-cut to the part of menu I'd like to be using softkeys, and go back one level at a time or all the way back to the starting point.
2. Phone's profile is just right, small and slim compared to others' small and chubby.
3. I get 3-bar signal strength in basement where other phones read dead spot.
4. Flip cover protects the buttons and gives it a nice clean look.
Con:
1. Not capable of picture or graphic messaging. How could Samsung have missed this feature?
2. Battery drains so fast, only around 72 hrs on standby. Better have a spare battery with you if you're planning to be out of your house more than a day or two.

The N105 is perfect, except where can you get an international charger? I don't to carry a separate power unit to plug the charger into. The Radio Shack unit is bulky and heavy.

I have been looking at buying a phone for a few months now and I finally decided on the N105 last weekend. I love the phone. Regarding the ringtone, just create your own. You only need basic music reading skills to create your own tune.

The phone is great. Good reception, no dropped calls. The only problem is it's harder to find ringtones as compared with a Nokia phone.
