I have been using this phone for 3 1/2 years now.. love it to death !! the problem is that there is no phone memory for messages & u cant messages either.. also , the paint is comin off BIG TIME . which just makes it look very tattered.. have no plans of buying a new one as of now so if any one knows a good repair shop or someplace where it could be repainted do let me in on the details!!

hi i just got this phone for free and found that i could only store 10 sms in the SIM card and none at all in the phone. is that the case? if you have a solution please email me. thanks

well i have this fone for 3.5 yrs..i loved its user friendly software and menus.following r the positive points
user frindly,battery reliability, light weight,soothing sound,looks,easy to handle and keep,
but from last month i m facing a truoble network ,, signal shows full network even if there is weak signal, sometimes call can not be completed, broken voice,i recommend not to buy this.service is important not looks.nokia fone is wonderful..go for nokia..robust,reliable..and ofcourse connecting ppl..thats true..a real freind..

Out of the masses of phones I have had, and some fairly high spec ones, this has got to be one of my favourites. Samsung oulled no gimmicks here. It did exactely what is said on the box, is light and looks great. Something you don't really get now- a phone that may not have absolutely everything on it, but still looks awesome (where is the styling on the new low series nokia phones?). This phone lasted me for ages, and my mum has it now...the battery has also never failed me unlike countless nokias.

The best dual fone u can ever have. Everything about this fone is great. Only the ringtone being monophonic, sometimes u won't be able to hear the ring when away from the fone. great looks and service. Highly recommended.

Had this phone for three years before it stopped working. the battery was still going strong but it wasnt reliably recieving txt messages and phone calls. Can't complain though as i gave it dogs abuse. Have since bought a modern nokia, which isnt as well designed as this old phone was.

This phone fails after about a a year of use. It has transmission problem, very severe. I have seen a whole lot of them at repair shops awaiting spare parts. I was told that they were recalled... ? Very good phone, otherwise, I really loved it.

World’s best dual band phone with good features, battery life is also very good. Software is user friendly. No problems at all. It looks gr8, display is very bright, wap is good. Overall it is high performance dual band phone.

That is a brilliant Piece in the Price band. Good one, Just one problem is there, That Ringtone Volume is low. I've been using this for last 3 Years.

Brilliant phone no problems atall! Not the most updated phone and has not got a cover for this type of phone though.

hi samsung n500 is a good phone however i have one problem with it i cannot edit messages like if someone sends you a message and you want to forward it it never gives me the option of editing that message,if anyone has a suggestion on how to work that out pleaase mail me on otiach@yahoo.com

I had mine N500 One year back, after couple of months the paint on the cover is pealing off and now its plane. What would be the reason, the set i brought is an old peace, but it should not happen its a Samsung Product. I like Samsung product very very much.

this is good phone with lots of games. Lots of sim space and I like it a lot ! Good phone where's the colour screen version of it !
