Sorry, maybe that wasn't clear. All I want to be able to do is surf the web at ANY wifi hot spot. In Spain, most of these are free, so why would I want to have to go through a service providers server ? And why not throw in Skype as well. Then it really would be AMAZING !!

Not what I expected. WiFi very inflexible as tied to mobile provider. Limnited memory. But decent phone otherwise. D900 much better. Would be great if the wi-fi wasn't tied.

if you want a cheap and a phone with a class that offers WIFI connectivity, this one is for you. amazing! its very light and small but very strong features. pictures are crisp. i highly recommend this phone. it has USB connection so no need to worry transfering or downloading of pictures, MP3 or videos.

hey guyz...
its a phone meant to do something which many on te service provider dont offer...
its UMA capable phone ..ABout UMA, it means unlicense mobile access....now it will come as a GAN standard.. its wi-fi is not just to surfing but to make a call over internet as ur normal fone... only thing is that currently very few service provider is giving this service(coz its future tech.) but this thing is surely going to shoot in some time ..its not just any other phone ...works great, have a good picture quality ... in short not a normal phone supports AMR and many other codecs

Question about the Wifi

I understand the main purpose of the wifi is to offer the UMA, but, can you still use the wifi for letīs say MSN conections or web browsing if you have a wireless network available?
Thanks,
Vicky

Not a bad phone for the basics usage. what is not good is that when you are listening to your MP3, you're not allowed to do other things like SMS, you cant hide, you can only escape and go back and replay the song all over again and when you get a call when in MP3 your songs will be stop and replay when you end ur call.
