Just came to know about another interesting fact.
It has enhanced Wi-Fi features like Unscheduled Power Save Delivery which allows it to have more than 8 hours talk time. Thats a huge plus.

To everyone who has been attempting to explain UMA/wifi's capabilities, thanks for trying, but I think it might be lost on some people. Because obviously they don't get it. Check it out guys: you have a cell phone...you're connected on a call through your gsm provider, then you enter a building with no gsm reception (work, home, hospital, etc.)However, say there is a valid wifi network operating in the building. This phone allows the call to be SEAMLESSLY transferred from the gsm network to the wifi network. 1.3 megapixel camera is a step backward in phone evolution? You guys obviously don't get it. If you want a good camera phone, go get one. This phone is aimed at business users who need constant connections...NOT super nice cameras. I don't think samsung went backwards in development, I think you guys did.

O MY G*D!! The phone has wifi because its for a special technology called UMA. Its specialy made for use of an Orange Livebox! Whit this technology you wil be abel to phone outside and inside whith Voip. So it wassent made for normal use!

The other two "UMA" phones that are coming up are Nokia 6136 and motorola A910, both has 1.3mp cam.
So everyone is going backward according to you guys. right?

Don't get me wrong "Simon" but this isn't meant for design or for its camera capabilty.
Its a "UMA" phone. and no one has it in the market as of now. Do some google on UMA and you will know.
Its supposed to switch automatically between wi-fi/EDGE/GPRS depending on whatever has stronger signal at any given point of time to offer you the best connectivity. Thats what I know.

the d600 was a great slider phone so stop making crappy 1.3mp phones and improve on the on d600 go forwrds not backwards.

Wherever there is a nice design, I'm there. Thats why you mostly see me in Samsung forum... They have so many designs to offer. Nokia/SE are great phones but nothing exciting to look at.So I dont post there. Even today they added another same dull pale looking SE phone to their protfolio.
So go find me in LG/BenQ-Siemens/Moto forum if you have so much time.
