aramni comparison is not a logical one,
u can choose comparing a bmw with a lexus which cost 1/2 prices of bmw, same features

Why not the LG? Because the LG is a cheap knockoff, and probably won't last a year without defects. Also, the design is way less than this phone. But hey, if you don't think it's worth the money or just can't afford it, go for the LG. To be short, your question is the same as why go for a Armani suit when you can get one for way less at K-Mart?

I'm using the phone on AT&T USA in San Franciscco, and I'm also having the "Caller ID sometimes displays 10 digits, sometimes 11" for domestic incoming calls and SMS.
Has anybody solved this problem? It doesn't happen on TMobile USA so it is clearly an incompatibility between AT&T and the P310. Other Samsung phones work fine (like the SGH-E900).
Perhaps a firmware upgrade would do the trick, but I can't find new firmware anywhere... Yes, I've talked to both AT&T and Samsung USA, and neither have had any suggestions for the issue at hand, or for where to find new firmware.

This is a ridiculous phone.
The sound quality and the MP3 is very bad.
The phone service is also not too gud.
cam is also not that gud, flash is bad and zoom is worst. A Total waste of money.

I just bought one of these on eBay for $100. Is there any way to change the housing?

*sigh*
Everything is flawless, except my memory card slot. Had a service centre to have a look at it.I can't be bothered sending it back to where I purchased it from (Hong Kong). Too much of a hassle and Samsung Australia refuses to service the phone, even though I have the receipt!
Bought it in January 08 lol, for some reason though, alot of people are complaining about the battery life, I haven't had any issues. I use it quite heavily and have trouble trying to drain it all!

This phone is about as close as you will get right now to perfect if you want a cool looking and decent performing cell phone. Signal will not be perfect in the USA because its missing the 850 band, but still uses 1900 so all is not lost. Battery life not great unless you use the case, but its ok. Audio performance with bluetooth stereo headsets is amazing, its worth it for that alone. video performance is great also, and the features are many for such a small phone. No other phone has the style factor of this or the exclusivity, you wont see another around... plus the camera is awesome too... buy it....

@gaurav: It doesn't matter where you put the file. As long as you can find it on your phone.

My 3rd Samsung mobile in 22 months!
So sleek and handy, might look like talking to your calculator though nonetheless I love it. Some setbacks though, pictures do open slow when stored at the memory card. Touch screen is sensitive/uncooperative, sometimes its slow when exiting submenus. Take time to explore and enjoy the phone, it's worth every penny.
Btw, does the battery life gets extended if I use both at the same time?

Is it just me that can't seem to get the MICROSD to work? I have tried 5 different cards, from 256mb up to 2gb ones...
None are recognised! Do I have to do something special? Hmm!
I know for a fact that those memory cards aren't faulty because they all work flawlessly with my other gear!
Just on this phone :-(
Other than this issue, the phone is perfect!
