Hey guys have had this phone for about 6 months and have a major problem with it! The phone has absolutly terrible reception I really dont think this phone is a good buy sure it looks good and everything but whats the point of having a mobile if no-one can reach you and vice versa! Plus the battery life of the phone is terrible as well if the phone is not connected to its second battery within the leather case! Im totally turned off Samsung now should of just stuck with my Motorola Razor!

hi i have been using this phone for 3 months now and i would like to inform everyone that there is a major network problem it does not catch network at all even in good places i cant get the call through i am in mumbai and i am using a nokia n 80 as my secondary phone so i switched sim cards and no improvement. the only good thing about this phone is its battery life i talk for around 60 mins a day and keep it on for 24 hours then i have to charge it once very 4 days . The camera , mp3 player, voice quality, call drops , hangs in phone is all sad about the phone ... i guess i will be selling it and prefer to buy another phone even if i have to lose around 10k very soon STRONGLY NOT REOMMENDED

Anyone tested a microSDHC card in the P310? People have confirmed they work with the N95. Is it possible to upgrade the firmware to sda2.00 specs?

I have had some fundamental irritating problems with my P310 recently:

a) the phone "jams" (no buttons work and the screen freezes) and then it restarts itself

b) the vibration comes on for a call but does not switch off - only way to stop it vibrating is to power off the phone!

c) the soft keys keep activating options when I am speaking on the phone, for instance, when I am using voicemail, which is very frustrating!

Anyone else had similar experiences?? Any solutions or suggestions?

to turn key sounds off, just use the volume control buttons on the left side of the phone while on the main screen.

1) How can I transfer songs via bluetooth to the memory card directly?

2) Is there a shortcut key to record conversations while talking over the cell? I tried one method of going to options->main menu->applications->record....... but as can be seen it is very long route, please suggest.

The noisy keypad thing happened to me too- i think mine was because when i typed a number, I had the display set to show 'sticky notes' with the number on it. when I changed this, the keypad noise stopped.

Hi guys,

I just got the P310 and I just can't keep the phone in normal mode and remove the keypad sound. Could anyone help me with that.

NB Putting the phone in silent works but removing the keypad sound and keeping it in normal mode is not working

Anybody have any idea if the battery from the P520 is the same size as the one in the P310 coz if so, that wouild be excellent as its more powerful than the bat in the p310, which is the only thing that lets it down.

to minimise music player just open music player,press options;go to settings;select music plyer over rides other sounds n set in to on.. u can works on other stuff in the fon while the music plays in the bakground

Can anyone tell me how to copy and paste the entire phone contact list from the phone to either the memory card or to my PC (via bluetooth)?

It seems that the only way to do this is to use bluetooth to copy each contact but this would mean doing them individually, which is time consuming.

Please help - other than that, this has proved to be an amazing phone so far!
