this fone and d600 are great fone. almost same features.
this fone has 3.15 mp autofocus camera but d600 only 2mp and no AF.
try to look at the voting results.
D600 is a 0.1 point higher in all areas than P850 that means.. you know..

Why dosen't play WMA?make it better.it is expensive.

I just ordered one for 315 shipping included and will be getting my phone in 2 days. I'll post back to help anyone who has trouble with the phone once I receive it and figure everything out about it.

I have searched throught the comment pages like it told me too, but my question hasnt been answered. Is this phone generally better than the Samsung D600? Because i get the choice between tthis Samsung P850 or another D600 (mine just broke from repeated dropping). i am quite a photographer and this camera seems better, but ive heard alot about the d600 being better. If anyone has already bought and tested this phone, please please please write back as I need to make my decision. You can E-Mail if you want.

for Tomboy,yeah u can save the mpeg4 video in the phone.and i recommend u using this free software that plato video to 3gp converter.find it in this website www.download.com.great software.

i've bought my P850 on 14/2/2007.but on the 26/2/2007 my P850 cannot vibrate.Damn it.And I thought that I can't exchange for a new one but no no no (good sold are not returnable or exchangeable).Hell yeah for not even for 2 weeks it got problem...

Mike, I just got my P850 on Saturday and tried a 2gb card in it. II keep getting a "Not allowed" error, so my guess is no dice.

i just got the P850,so far so good,the only problem i have is the video.My older Samsung E720(1.3Mpx.)has better quality video than the new one??????.P850's video is verry chopy,if anyone can help me with this please do.

can you please tell me any tips on getting some nice pics at night?as far as i know this phone is worthless at taking snapshots at night.they come out tottaly blury.and imagine that i have a very steady hand.any settings that could help at night?at daylight its amazing but at night is so crappy

I was wondering with the Samsung P850, Does it have the fading in ringtones? It starts off real low and then goes to full volume. And I was also wondering if you can assign mp3's for your txt ringtone. Thanks!!!!

hi guys, really amazing phone with 3.15megapixel camera. photos & videos are really xtra. also my phone has fallen down in water but thanks god it's still good. this is the solidity of samsung. pls try one, you will be the winner

Hi all
SGH-P850 is my first samsung phone and I am into flip phone. I have been using it for more than 2 months now and below is my comment and opinion of this phone.
1. the camera
3.15 mp - clear pic, many function to setup for different mode ... just like a digital camera ... but must learn the skill of taking a photo with it, due to shuttle speed not like the digital phone.
If you wish to take photo of the moving object, you can try using multi shoot mode ... it good and fun, try it your self and you will know.
2. Video
Very nice video recording, for such a phone it consider super good. What can you ask for quality of video taken via a phone.
3. MP3
Sound is ok and but the player are not too good. The MP3 player cannot support long song name and it cannot play if your extension is wrong, for example come.MP3 are not supported but come.mp3 is ... funny??
4. Others phone function
Pretty simple to use and standard of a sumsung phone, at least it can add video mp4 as your contact pic ... pretty cool.
5. File manager
You cannot view photo with full screen if the photo is not taken from your phone's camera and sve under the default photo, if you moved the pic from the dafult photo to other place, you cannot save it back then. You can only play slide from photo save in memory card.
quite a good phone for it price...
I will give 7/10 for it function and specification but 9/10 for it design ... pretty professional look.
