I tried the Nokia E92, but it is early to judge consdering Smart is not so prepared to commercially start the mobileTV business. On the surface, the P930 has a better promise considering it has a TV out, but I have not tested the unit. This would mean, I can wacth TV with a larger monitor. The question is how big a monitor could go with the minimal bandwidth used to brodcast the IP stream and how large is the receiver ceiling bandwidth. I hope Samsung add a driver to communicate with universal remote so a user need not stand up to change channels. Or a add-on device via bluetooth to response to voice/video or MMS/SMS calls when wacthing TV. DVB-H may be the missing link to implement a poormans digital interactive TV system for a challenged economy like the Philippines.

Cool! Swings open, excellent build quality and great display.
Nice features: incoming SMS crawls along the screen when watching TV, alarms when your favorite TV show is about to start, takes snapshots of shows.
Definitely a better TV! Oh, lets not forget its a 3.5G phone. :)

This phone is out in the philippine market and its a great phone. you dont need a tv sim card to watch tv.. ordinary sim card will do. here in the phillipines they have 5 free channels and if you want more channels to watch for what i know you should subscribed to a cable provider that support wireless cable... coz here in the phillipines they have a dream cable that you can subscribed with this kind of phone.. and its great.. LOVE IT

About the pics to full screen.. youll need some editing programs like photoshop to change the size to 240 x 320 pixels in order to fit full screen..same with every other phones out there based on the screen size!!

Please can anyone advise me on how pictures/fotos are displayed on this phone? On my current samsung d600, fotos do not fill the screen fully, or they have a type of "border" around them/ I was wondering if pictures actually fill the screen on this model? Many thanks

with the MC issue, samsung has only started using MC recently so you can't be hard on them ^_^ And i don't think that most asian phones like samsung and docomo uses MCs or prioritizes them since its not that musch of importance in their own country... only my opinion ^_^

I don't think so that this phone came out in korea about 5-7 months ago...
i think it between late 2003 and mid 2004 and can even extend up until 2005 but i dont think that its that early Y_Y Ive saw it being used in the korean drama fireworks, and its dvd was only released last 2005 and also consideringthat it wouldn't suddenly have a gsm version so that's that ^_^

This phone came out as an ANYCALL in South Korea in 2003... Very nice phone, has no swivel glitches, except that the Document Viewer in Korean model is not too reliable.... Would love to try this out in GSM mode!!
