In Canada, they are selling the GT-S5690M version. It's brown and has been neutered with a 3MP camera and small 320 x 480 screen. Just warning all the Canadians reading the info on this site. Wish we got the I847, I'd buy it if I could.

awesome spec. eventhough this is not what i want, but this fulfill my need. the only thing we should worry is the battery life. i think samsung can improve on it, since size and design doesn't matter for the outdoor lover, bigger battery cappacity would be fine. at least 2 days in the jungle without powerplug.

I'm a swimmer, i party hard and I'm very clumsy as well. I had the B2100 n it served me great! To date, best phone I ever had. I have the iPhone 4s for business and had the defy+ for the pool but it's not shock resistant. I just bought this phone. Incredible. Even though it's not high end like the dual core smart phones, it's worth it. The touch is clean, but can scratch so get a film for ir. it's quick, can access flash sites I can't on the iPhone; I mean this is the phone to buy. If you LOVE to party till morning and still find your phone alive, this is for you

In Europe you will get it even faster, as the phone's source code is Samsung based. I am also having the Nexus S....It's basically a Galaxy with a smaller screen.So, no worries, go ahead and buy it, if you like it.You can get it unlocked in your country in 24 hours....

Does the casing cover the screen in any shape or form?
So when it drops the screen doesnt come anywhere near the surface , when the dropping occurs.
