My mobile sim fried which caused all of the photos and other stuff saved on my sim to be thrown out with it. It's a great phone but I wish I was able to download ringtones and games through other companies other than i-mode. Most of the time, it is not compatible with any of the ringtones etc.

Can anyone tell me if its possible to have vibrate on as well as message tone?
Both tone and vibrate work fine for ring tone but its seems message is tone only, no vibrate.

this is urgent im gettin a new phone nxt week and i really want the samsung S342i but can you get it with optus because i want a phone with optus and i really love this phone... does it have infared ????????? please please post or email me =)

My daugter has one she loves the phone but it crashed and had to have it reset by fonezone which deleted her games which we have been told can not be replaced

Samsung do not support this phone with ringtones, games or any other downloads! This model number does not appear on its website or many other popular ringtone sites yet they allow you to register.

My daughter has this mobile, she's absolutely delighted with it. I have to pick just ONE problem with it,for text messaging the print is unusally fine, even for the sharpest eyes. And yes ! in " Options " you can choose your text to be " Bold, Italic, Underlined " and that's great, if only you could keep it that way, problem is, it reverts back to the original settings.

Random - i havent been able to either.
I don't think it does which is totally ridiculous!
I'm stuck on a contract with this phone for another 22 months, and I'm NOT HAPPY!

i love this phone.it even supports true tones from some imode web sites.plus it's easy to use it vibrates and has a loud ring.does anyone have a website a can download some games and ringtones from 10/10

AUSSIES - I got mine from fonezone on a $40 plan... $0 upfront.

BTW - what is data?? :P
No bluetooth but does have imode...
No radio... and no mp3..

1.5 MB is not good if u r planning to use your mobile like a 'camera'... otherwise it is manageable

I love this phone. It is so light and so easy to operate. Even an "old fart" like me cne do it easy. The design is AAA+.Good one Samsung!
