Samsungs default bluetooth passcode is '0000'.
To transfer mp3's there are two ways, 1- bluetooth from another handset or computer and 2- via the usb cable which needs to be purchased separtely.

This phone is strictly sold to telstra customers as it has the network feature of imode. I know this because I work for telstra. The features and styles may be the same as the E720 because Telstra do not sell that version of the phone. Software can be found at samsungs site. The nearest model to this is the samsung E730 which has bigger internal memory.

its not the pin's problem. its ur problem.
if the pin your friend types is '1234' then you type '1234'. if you type '000' your friend must type '000' u understand? you and your other party's phone must have the same pin regadless of what number.
like for example.
MY PHONE"S PIN; 123456789
THE OTHER PARTY'S PHONE; 123456789
understand?

Overall, I find this is a stupid phone. Seriously stupid... Don't buy this phone or you'll regret.
The camera isn't that good for a 1.3megapixel.
Cannot even zoom your images.
What's the use of big memory capacity, video, mp3s, 1.3mp camera when you can't even create your own custom folder?
While playing mp3/aac, you can't do anything else.
Can only use AAC as ringtone!?!?!?!
Only videos in mp4 format and it's sound in amr format can be use as ringtone... only if your video is small enough.
Cannot install java games.
Cannot install java applications.
The PIMS sync don't work and will never work.
The phone doesn't even have PIMS sync service available in the first place but it have the menu.
The iMode browser only works on iMode supported service provider. Even though it has GPRS, only iMode is supported. Normal GPRS won't work!!
Bluetooth transfer is bloody slow...
It didn't come with a detailed manual...
What are the 'Other Files' folder for when you can't even install java applications in them?
While sending your SMS and it's taking too long and you want to cancel, don't even think about it. It won't cancel trying to send the sms. It'll just leave your phone hanging until it successfully sends the sms. The cancel option is a dumb/fake function. So does the PIMS SYNC.
There isn't much support for this phone too... so forget about thinking of downloading some customisation off the web for this phone.

What is the point in this phone it is almost excactely the same as the samsung e720, i have the e720 and i luv it the features are great mp3 fantastic camera, come on samsung y make a phone excactelty the same as the e720?

Hey i want to buy this phone but i wanted to know if it has the same problem as the e720 had with not being able to vibrate and hear the ringtone at the same time, someone please email me back with this info.

Actually, after converting to .mp4 i still can't set as ringtone. Only after converting to .aac then it can be set. Try it. It work.

i actually use dBpowerAMP Music Converter http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm for all my audio converting ;P just download the first codec here http://www.dbpoweramp.com/code...tral-mp4.htm
OR - if you already use itunes/quicktime you may wnt to use the codecs down the page
Choose convert to .m4a (thats the audio track of mp4 files) then save the output as .mp4 file
