this is quite possibl;y the worse phone i have EVER purchased
quite frankly i feel that the person hu made this phone should be shot at a point blank range!!!!!

Hi,pls is there anybody who can help with samsumg s500i.it connects to network but i can not make or receive cals or sms sometimes it display (limited service)is there any body with the solution plz help

Manual directs me to Global download centre and following instructions for S500i they only present S500 manual ( no camera info).

it is really very good fone.. camera quality is very best.. quality is equal 3MP. display quality, menu style, easy to use.. all features are very nice..
drawback: sound is low..

nothing is good in this phone.even it cant get the ring tones as a caller idim maintaining this phone since two years .

U can put also a 2 Gb card in the phone and it works great!(2 Gb is the maximum for this model).

me agree with statemant of former person, phone no good at sendind files of things i like, otherwise I whole heart like phone and what it has ability to do.

You can't set mP3s as ringtones they have to be aac files. Just convert em using Itunes, and they can't be full song files you have to cut them using software.

really cool phone, reliable and stylish. One MAJOR design flaw however, doesnt record time or date of sent sms. otherwise highly recommended..

i have had this phone for about 16 months and its served me well. only problem is you cant set mp3's as ringtones.
also doesnt have a very good battery life but it depends how often you make phone calls
apart from that a decent phone

This looks to be a great phone but my main question is how can you set an mp3 as a ringtone. I converted it to less than 150kb(a part of it), I sent it through bluetooth but I still can't set it as a ringtone. Does anyone Know a solution to my problem. Please email me Kpapathan@gmail.com

i can only answer 1 of your question whih is the 1 about the bluetooth and what i have to day is that you cannot remove this, but all you have to do is simply enter the same code as he does. day for instance u enter 1234 then he has 2 so do the same.\most people do this or 0000.

well , its a good featured phone almost with every function provided in other expensive multimedia handsets. No doubt about its low battery lyf(talktime). its dual speaker feature makes me rock. no comparision to these range mobiles. its clearity and reliabilty is superb. no other words to explain . go 2day and greab it if u r getting it in stock.Damn stylished and sexy phone

Good sleek phone. Good feature to value proportion. Would have been fun to have some built in games. A little less battery life. Overall - a definite good buy.

1. i want to connect with the computer for put some games and mp3 songs. please tell me what is the process?
2. when i connect the bluetooth with some otherone he need a four digit code for connect them so please tell any option to remove this option.

I've had this phone for nearly a year now, its very smart looking and easy to use. I've always had a Nokia but decided to give Samsung a try and I am impressed. The photo quality is brilliant and theres lots of space to store them.
My only complaint would be that the battery runs flat very quickly, have to charge it every other day which is a pain.

I v had 2 of the s500 and have found that the battery life last much longer if you charge it the first time for over 8 hours. This was the case with the second phone and i would get at least 10 or more e- mails a day This lasts about 2 days Its very compact and neet with large digets. Layout is very simple and easy to use ity gets 10/10 from me
