I really want to have my firmware upgraded, but I don't want to do it on my own. I asked Samsung Service Center and they said IG2 is still the latest here. The latest firmware says that touch action is more responsive, plus you can customize the main menu. I like my Jet. How 'bout you, Pinoy?

i installed rout66
when i opened always it is asking....
..Get Licence key from server yes/no ?
..Do you have a voucher code yes/no ?
and when i press no
it is always showing getting position.......
is a internet connection required for g.p.s accessing
i am new this g.p.s help pls........

there is official firmware available on samsung website.
also there is a newest firmware from Darkforest group

so which one is better to take.
what's the difference.

Now that I'm on my 3 week on using my Jet, I will now give it an 8.5/10. Battery performance had improved a bit over time; setting Brightness to automatic instead to off and set to 1 actually makes the light dimmer compared to when it's set to 1. Though I still wish battery life would last up to 3 days. Before it was just below 24hrs. Now, it's a bit over 2 days.
I haven't upgraded my firmware, though; I have learned to live without the cut-copy-paste features. And even when using the panning and zooming features in some settings turn out jerky when it's on landscape, I'm still truly satisfied with Jet.

About the camera freezing ... you are wrong .. I had the same 'problem' ... turns out that you can just hold the unlock button and it will unlock in camera mode ..

Bottom line is ... you can still lock the phone in camera mode and it looks as if it's frozen ... unlock it with the butotn on the top right and you are back in controllable camera mode. ..
