This has to be by far the worst phone I have ever owned and I'm not the only one to think this. My sister inlaw has the exact same phone and we both hate it. It turns istelf off on me AT LEAST 2 times a day. When typing out texts the screen will freeze mid type and then all of a sudden it'll come back to life and all the letters come flying out including the ones I hit to try and make the screen work again. My sister inlaws has problems with the alarm. More often than not when she sets it it will not go off the next day. The picture quality MAY be good but it takes too long for it to clear up when you select a picture to view. The phone will also hang up on me mid conversation. It will also hang up on me before it even starts to dial the number I have selected. I'm going back to Nokia. I've owned Nokias for over 15 years and I'm sorry I ever left them. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heey really wanna know hows texting with this fone ?? is there anyway to get a virtual onscreen QWERTY keyboard when texting someone ?? [really need to know!!]

It's a nice phone with excellent picture quality. Video sound distorts and hangs on me.. maybe software problem?

I love this phone. In fact I love so much I even went out to get the exact one when I lost the first one. The camera feature is awesome, the sound quality is great, picture quality is mint...the phone is simply brilliant. My only tiny quip is that I wish it weighed a wee bit lighter. Other than that - brilliant! By the way, can someone explain to me why such a cracking phone is next to impossible to find and why Samsung has stopped producing this awesome phone. Thanks

Its good but its reception for signals is weak, so i have bad experience with this model

I'm not recommended this..:(

my screen for s8300 is nolonger displaying anything. how best can this be solved. i have tried giving it to one technician in my country but i haven't gott any joy. i m able to both receive and cal but my worry is other necessary fuctions are dead. can this be rectified, if so how best can i get some assistance

ts 1 of tha best phone only dat t lacks an operating system which meks t hard 2 apply themes bt luckly t reduces the virus risks.
The camera is poor in dark
plus tha battery lyf is poor bt I stil luv t.

After a google search for the problem it seems to be a very common problem on this phone and the answer is that the speaker has simply stopped working. Broken. You can take it for repairs or use a bluetooth ear piece.

if you dont like this phone then buy nokia or another one. for me it*s working.

for incresing battery time,
- custom you keypad light at day time
- reduce brigtness
