Ok,i'll admit i am surprised but who would have thought a Samsung would have a cracked screen problem (ex D900 user myself!)
This is what happened, other half decided to update mmc to a larger capacity, slid down the battery cover latching switch and the back almost launched itself into orbit but didn't think anything of it, switched cards and then went to put the phone back together, inserted battery then went to put the battery cover back on only to find it wouldn't go on easily, applied firm but even pressure and the screen cracked (silly mistake) but it turns out the battery has swollen in one area but sunken in another.
So now the screen and battery has to be replaced but looking at the spares cost it will be cheaper to buy a new phone.
Very surprised at this happening.

> In reply to Aijaz @ 2012-05-24 08:56 from QPVU - click to readhi ur problem is a rare one..,
anyway lets try to solve it..
go to my accounts , there u will see an email address which samsung considers as the official email id for all purposes.., DELETE that email id & account..
switch off & on ur mobile..
then do a full hard reset(caution- u will loose all ur data,so back it up before u do this..)
again switch off & on ur mobile..
i think after this ur problem should be solved..,
if still the problem persists, then u may have to flash ur firmware.., give to samsung service center they will flash it with latest firmware..

yetiplayer plays HQ youtube videos both in 3G+ & wifi networks..
only problem is that it is a paid app for which we require credit card..
& secondly certain service providers of 3G network in india block it, as it uses RSTP Protocol which requires ports 554 & 8554 to be available in your 3G+network..
if you have SIM cards of different service providers u can try & see..
and next query: HQ option is absent in both bada 1.2 & bada 2.0 , i think in general youtube has stopped giving HQ option for its videos on certain mobile browsers like opera,uc..
maybe the next opera mini 7.0 updated version which is expected by this year can have HQ option.. lets wait & see..
bye.. take care..

> In reply to arnold @ 2012-05-21 15:49 from BwVZ - click to readhi,
its true now opera mini does not give HQ option for viewing youtube videos..
i have a solution i bought myself a mobile sim wifi router(like micromax/lava/sony..etc) : its like a mobile phone with battery & a sim card slot..
i put my extra 3G enabled simcard in it.. & switch it on, now it acts as wifi router
choose your unique User Id & Password(now nobody else can access ur wifi signal).. , then activate wifi in ur wave 2 and pair it with it by entering the same user id & password..
now you will see that our wave 2 will start playing youtube videos crystal clear like home theatre system..
yesterday i watched one whole 2 hour movie on my wave 2 like this via youtube.., it was mind blowing picture & audio clarity..,
i shall never go for movie theatres from now, when i have a mini home theatre system like WAVE 2 in my pocket..
and one advice stay on with bada 1.2
as its more smoother & user friendly OS than bada 2.0 ,ultimately its individual choice i feel that way..
anyway i hope ur youtube video viewing problem is solved now.. :-)
bye..
