WAVE 8530 vs GALAXY I9003:
pros: Android. Even bigger screen (4 inch). 1... moreI agree to your point, each has its own pros n cons. the bigger battery of the galaxy SL is probably to support the bigger SLCD.
Also, i belive Wave II is the only handset in the market which has it's own unique n stylist look and built quality. I mean look at all the HTC's have a similar look or look at other Samsung touch screens' n smartphones they look from the same family with similar keys and plastic body.
Guys, i had a Query regarding the CPU Usage.
Whenever i check the CPU Usage, i notice that it is not stable. It keeps fluctuating. It has gone max till 30 % Generally, it keeps on increasing and decreasing between 1% & 25%. No other Applications are also running at this time. Is this Normal ? Wave II Users please comment.
Adel, 01 Mar 20112 days is normal for a smart Phone like Wave2, So begine to get use to it :Dyaaa...rite....its a major mental-block for all those users aho are using a smart-phone fr the 1st time...specially if migrating from the damn-old S40 or S60 Symbians.....they expect all the same battery backup...although they will play music 10 more times...or surf net..or paly videos over the new smartphone...but they need n expect the same 'long' battery backup :D
Do one thing....treat ur smartphone as a not-so-smartphone...dont play videos..dont surf net..dont play 3D games...play a bit lesser music...u all the handsome hunks and beutiful ladies..u all will get the same desirable 'loooonggg' battery backup :)
NEED HELP URGENTLY (3G issue)
Guys...anyone here using 3G services (especially data service) using the WAVE 8530 ..in India?
I tried with TATA DOCOMO's 3G subscription...and facing problems....video calling is OK...but not getting the 3G data...all I getting when browsing is 2G data in 2G speed....I am fighting with the Customer Care people for last 20 days...but still no solution!
Now I am afraid that is my handset or rather the WAVE 8530 is capable of 3G services or not!! (im talking bout the frequency issue) ...or may be particularly my handset is the faulty one.
Guys...if u have used 3G from ur WAVE 8530...then plz help me..plz do post ur comments here...

WAVE 8530 vs GALAXY I9003:
pros: Android. Even bigger screen (4 inch). 1650mAh battery. 16 GB (huge) internal memory.
cons: All plastic body, cheap feeling on hand. Flash less camera (WTF!). No camera key. Pathetic loudspeakers.
really Samsung is creating Wave's own competitor! But see..I believe the cons are pre-thought and well-put....without these cons...pratically WAVE 8530 would be dead once it gets launcehd.
Sanjeev, 28 Feb 2011Hello,
I have downlaoded Ebuddy and Opera min on my wave but but every time i try ... morethis problem shudnt be thre...really I am clueless...as for me..both work perfectly...even see.opera mini has 2 modes in its network setting: HTTP and SOCKET (loosely speaking SOCKET meant for GPRS/3G and HTTP for Wifi)...my WAVE detects automatically whether I am using WiFi or GPRS when using OperaMini and adjusts the setting on its own!
Check all the network/application settings
