I love the design for its uniqueness, but is it really suitable for a phone? I'm kinda doubting that.

actually iam just wondering WHAT HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU SAMSUNG??????? they 'r thiking of steping ahead nokia and se but they're just getting back to SEIMENS!!!! :D

It looks upside-down! Probably use it like a normal phone then when you turn it upside down to put it into the dock like an ipod would to use it as a stereo kind of thing... that would be my guess!

I don't like me the serenata because it has an ugly desing ad more, it doesn't have a camera

are u sure it's a phone? it looks really good, but where's the earpiece speaker.. or mic.. and what's the sliding part for?
it'll look very very good for some high class stereo, but for a phone, i don't see it's function...

well unlike most on here I have phone.build quality first rate,still think as I did of the serene screen quality is the best of any phone ,at present I have iPhone,n95,and have owned at least 10 phones a year since 1997.good points top call quality,sound from speakers,just the fastest phone to call from phone book using scroll wheel,no fingerprints show on case,very easy to hold no fear of droping,unlike iPhone .I don't miss camera,and yes snob Yalue,won't meet many 16year olde whipping out thier n95 to compare with mine.bad points texting slower,lack of being able to change menu,and call center calling,[inputting numbers],also not designed for left handers.so guess not the best if its your only phone but for me may be the one phone I won't tire of and sell.

Seriously, the phone just stands aloof of others, but it is so fancy, don't think it is going to be a pocket phone either from the way it looks.

This is not a gadget phone, but a elegant designed mobile. Sophisticated like al their other products. It makes all other mobiles look like each other. This one steps out from the others.

eBay U.S.A listings has 2 listed for sale. Buy It Now price is USD$2,600. Robbery, in my opinion. Serenata will not be sold in USA, according to B&O site. One CES review site said phone will cost equivalent of USD$1,600. They also said phone sounds great but they dislike the dial interface.

If u want to make something look futuristic, there is a good chance it will be U-G-L-Y. The screen below the buttons is SHT.

look here stop saying bad things about this pace of art b & o hade sold out all what the have and there is a list from now to dicember 2008 sold out 20 of them in one week

it looks unacceptably ahead of its time. screen under dials, wow! the legion of mobile phone are like earthlings and this samsung model is a martian, even among samsung siblings. they could have made it look more cellphone like or acceptable. i would not mind owning such a cellphone if it's not that costly..
