Hey, Johnny. It would be impossible to take a picture with this phone, as this phone does not have a camera built in. No camera, yet it costs US$2,000!

WOW !!!

Mine is going to be the first opinion for this phone for the year 2008 on GSMArena.

This phone seems to be some kind of a new design MP3 player or so. I am sure it wud b difficult to navigate thru the menus or take photos using this phone. Forget about taking photos or videos, even making an ordinary phone call using this phone wud b a task. Someone who is really tech savy & has enough money to blow on a reputed brand of mobile phone wud consider Nokia N 95 8 GB eventhough itz a brick kind of a phone, but not to forget itz loaded with loads of features & itz of good quality & also u wud save money as compared to buying this phone, as this samsung phone wud b damn expensive.

Sorry to say, but frankly speaking I don't think Samsung will do well with this model. But Samsung is smart enough & knows how to get thru it using other models.

Just saw the video, even the person who is demonstrating is struggling to get to the menus.... Very bad design can't think about using the features which are difficult to access through the weird menus.

I love the design, but it's not really suitable for a phone. The features are great though.

when technology improves future cellular designs will be ugly as this one ...

i think samsung should improve there cellular battery life before making stuff like this ...

I am a phone lover and have the Serene, Vertu, Iphone, but nothing comes close to the Serenata! The largest B&O stores only received 3 or 4 units ! So you certainly will not see yourself coming and going all across town!

The Serenata Phone has not yet been released. You cannot buy it yet. But, when it is released, it will sell for $2,000 US Dollars, which is 1362 Euros as of today. I doubt many people will spend that kind of money for this phone...a phone which has no camera and which has only 4-gigabytes of memory (and no card slot to add more memory). Also, the phone keypad is touchscreen, but it is not digital pad touchscreen. To dial, you use a virtual rotary dial-pad, like the old rotary phones. The only good thing of this phone is the music player. But one can easily find a small music player with great sound for so much less money.

I own a Serenata look i go a better idea a Nokia 1112($20) a flashlight($10) a 5mp camera($100) a 4gb ipod($230)= A Samsung Serenata($1500)
