I asked tmobile about the message tone and they said go under settings but everyone says it doesnt work...so thaat sucks cuz i have a special song for messages!!! But hey it could be worse!!!! =) THANKS to all who answered all my Q&A's!!!

Get the number you want to assign a pic too, go to options then edit, then scroll to "picture ID" press add/ok and then assign a pic as your picture I.D!

If they are saved on your SIM card then you have to search through the phone to change a setting to display SIM and Phone Contacts then they will all show up when people call. How you do this is:1. Menu 2. Contacts 3. Management 4. View Contacts. Then Select Phone and SIM Card

I hope this helps since it took me forever to figure this shit out. Does anyone know how to fix the battery issue?

i really want this phone but i dont kno if its really worth the money out of my pocket could someone please tell me from experience if this phone is really worth the price I just need some honest insight PLEASE HELP!!!!!

All you need to do is make sure that the tone, sound, mp3 etc is stored in the phones memory and not on a removable memory card

Select the number, press options, press edit, scroll down to ringtone and press add. From there you can change the ringtone for any number,

Tmobile said that you can change the message sound...??? but they also said u CAN NOT save mp3 files as your ringtone, but people who HAVE the phone have their own music as the ring tones!! Well I ordered this phone b/c my BB Curve is effin up and I dont need the $20.00 plan but I LOVE QWERTY! But it's on backorder so I guess I will wait and see!!!! Any advice on these problems let me know!!!!
--can u set your ringer as mp3?
--can you set DIFFERENT mp3's to diff. people in address book?

about everyones concern with the caller id, you have to save the area code with the number. if it doesnt have the area code then it will not show the name. thats the same on most samsungs. even if you live in a small area where there is only one area code you have to save it. i work at tmobile and just confirmed this on our store demo.

Overall, I've enjoyed using the Gravity. Yeah, the battery could be better, but I'll deal with it until a better aftermarket one is available. I bought it for its low price and messaging capabilities and I have'nt been disappointed
