This phone TOTALLY turned me off to samsung now, it's expensive and a total waste of money. I hate texting on it, I bought a cheaper phone (like a black and white one) and I like it better than this U300! The keypad is IMPOSSIBLE!! DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING IT! IT SCRATCHES EASILY TOO! Which lowers it's value when you try to sell it cause of how crappy it is! The battery life sucks, seriously! A whole night's charge can't even last 6 hours! Sure it's pretty to look at, but NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I AM NEVER BUYING A PHONE FROM SAMSUNG AGAIN! I'M NOT EXAGGERATING!

I'm selling this phone after 1 month of use, the touchpad of this phone is a total failure, to type an sms could be a very irritating experience!!! The phone it self is a great piece of technology but the orrible pad invalidate the use of this phone...sorry

Great apperal - best designed cellphone I've ever had.
BUT:
battery is terrible: I've to call with the power supply plugged in (long live the wireless phones...)
keypad is awfull to handdle.
Deveidce has been 2 times to Samsung - everything is within specs they say.
I seriously can not work with this phone: I use the phone professionaly up to 3 hours a day - so if I'm no in my office, the battery gives in by noon...
It's a shame because of the looks, but I've just opened the trashcan and I'll never see this mobile again...

Please help me. i need to order a battery cover. i lost my battery cover and i just need a new replacement badly. where can i order?
yes, this phone is bad. i find it so hard to text and the battery don't last a day.
what will i do with this? its not user friendly. i wish i can replace this with a new one. please help!

I got this phone with a plan because I was told that it was durable. It does seem to be pretty tough, and the camera is quite good, but almost everything else about it is awful! The paint starts chipping away after only a few weeks. While the battery life was at least passably mediocre to start with, after a few months the battery life has suddenly plummeted to less than one day, without even using it! But the worst thing is the horrible buttons, which are pretending to be touch-sensitive buttons. In reality they are just really, really crappy and irritating concealed push-buttons that make text messages almost impossible to write. My advice is, don't buy this phone if you can possibly avoid it!

-requires hard, long nails to press the buttons!
-i've had 15 cellphones till now, this is the worst by far!

20 hours standby after all night charging.
Cam OK, texting is not user friendly.

I have this phone now for approx 6 months.
And the following things are to be noticed, in mine opinion:
Positive:
-Beautifull design
-Software is fast
-Nice big (enough) screen
-Nice features, like background that moves along with the daytime (in the evening it looks like the sun is going down on the screen)
Negative:
-For the sms'ers between us, it sucks, the touchpad is difficult to handle even after 6 months, I hate smsing now :S
-The battery life is way to short, it says stand-by 300h but when you make some calls (I make about 5 calls of aproxx 4 minutes a day) it won't even last 12 hours of standby.
Overall:
Ik think the battery life and the sms behaviour are two heavy points, I would not have bought this phone, even with the nice features.
