i have d830,great phone.but is this one really better?i mean,its new and slimmer.as far as i can see,only camera is a lot better than d830.my phone also has more memory and microSD slot.
but it does look more attractive.and i think it will cost much more than d830,because it has 3MP camera.

they should have kept the card slot...if it can have the charger slot then why not a card slot =\
i have the previous series D830...i love it, just the buttons take little time to getting use to but other then that its SEXY all my friends are jealous of me

this is suppose to be an improve version of d830 but looking at the specs, except for the dimesion, its more of a downgrade since some features were eliminated/sacrifice just so it can make it slimmer. hope, at least, it would be a lot cheaper than d830.

This particular model is mainly for consumers who just want a nice simple phone.
No high specifications but just simple and and fun. It has a 3MP camera on this amazing thin piece. The clarity in LCD, picture and dsign is a bang for your buck if you just want a simple phone. Check out other samsung phones here if you are looking for business or smart phones that include higher specifications to meet yur needs.

What is the point in having extremely thin phone ? Very frail, and no memory card, no flash, no exterior speaker...: what a waste . I would prefer a thicker phone with more features.

kind of large for a flip phone... the 3pm camera could have done well with an expandable memory phone. tsk tsk

Oh no! They should keep on "compromising features for size"! Starting by getting rid of useless toy-cameras in phones. But memorycard would be nice for mp3...

to samsungrock: there is no expandable memory or card slot in this phone. the supposed card slot your're talking about is actually for the charger.

i just saw the live pics of this device and it does have the expandable memory card slot it's on the right side... go to here and check it out!! it's really really really NICE!!!! i'm thinking about buying this one when it comes out!!!! i don't care if it's OLED external display long as it has beautiful big QVGA screen inside which does phone does!!!!

with an external mono OLED display, does this mean it can now take self-portrait even if the phone is close? this is a not bad looking phone. too bad, they sacrifice memory card just so they can make it even slimmer. it even has smaller internal memory than d830.
