to install software on vista i ran compatibility wizard (look in help and support) and ran the setup files in the 'bin' folder as XP sp2 once installed i ran pc studio update and it seems to work ok with either cable or bluetooth. although getting my bluetooth adaptor to work in the first place was a nightmare.
Hello, just a wee Q, how do you get rid of the o2 sign on the main screen? cheers
Can anyone tell me how I can use my bluetooth on U600? Its asking for a password and I dont have one, nor does the other phone Im sending stuff from. What do I do?
Thanks Wayne, but that's a bit of a shame not to be able to have a theme on, isn't it? Is there any way to have a theme on without a logo? It seems pretty pointless having such a nice background spoiled by the operator. Or is there somehwere else to get themes from?
how to now if the battery is original?
In response to the question about Battery Life. My boyfriend has this phone and with reqular use he charges it every two days.
I have a new Noia 7390 and I charge mine about every two days as well, so I guess thats the general battery life of most new mobiles.
EWAN; Try switching the theme off and maybe switching to normal for dialing display. Then you should be able to get o2 off screen.
for PETER: well my co-workers u600 LCD suddenly got broken. it wasnt viweing the whole thing yeah maybe it was cracked as well. He got it repaired in the Samsung service center costed almost $45 to replace the LCD here in Manila.
can anyone please tell me how to take an incoming call when you are on the line already
I've bought one of these from o2 and I'm really annoyed that the logo is locked on.
I've tried turning it off using the floating text option but this is greyed out.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get rid of it?
by the sounds of things this phone looks like a good one... i am getting one soon on contract and hopefully it should be better than this L6 motorola which i have
Savo - if you right click on the disk and explore, open the folder called 'bin' and run the apps from there, it should install fine.
I would suggest that if you've not already joined the Samsung Fun Club you should do so. Because there's a message board that members use to help each other with any problems that they have with there phone, and there's also contact details Sumsung's support team. It's also free too, plus there's wallpaper ringtones etc that you can download of which some are free with the points system they have.

I have doubt to but U600 or K800(S/E).
I think U600 is more stylish than K800, but some say that K800 is better in sound and camera...
please guide me...
1. Can we creat folder in phone and memory-card?
2. Can we see JPG files in fullscreen ? (I had D600 and it couldn't)
3. If we put password for memory card by this phone, and we put that card in other phone or camera, what happen ??
