Did you notice the lines on the screen when you play video you have recorded ?
i like samsung products for their quality particularly televisions, now they are developed world beaters in all elctronics like mobiles refrigerators dvds hifis microwave etc good luck
Thanks Leo, work a treat. But couldnt get rid of the carrier logo, I think its set.
I think it is better you buy u600.
battery life .as I know you should charge it once a day!
hey. I like this phone but i have read here some posts saying that battery lasts max 24 hours . is this true ? i have at the moment a s-e k800i . should i keep this one ? respond quickly
To remove the carrier's name just set the idle text display to off. To show the location name, go to messages-settings-broadcast messages-receive,make it enabled.
Cheers. Samsung U600 rocks.
I own this phone and the video is magnificent I dont care what the quality is reduced to. There's still no better video phone than samsung on the market. The quality is astonishing. I owned the d900 and I can say the video is better or equal to it. Only thing is the phone has the touch buttons that can get annoying getting used to
Ok ive had this phone for 3 weeks and its great just needed time to get used to the touch screen buttons but i still prefer my sony ericson k800i.it may be old but i have still not found a phone that can beat it:D not even the u600
i brought the u600, had it for a week and i can not stand it any more, it is realy anoying with the touch sensitive keys. it is a good looking phone with some good features but for me it wasnt practical enough. dont buy it if u like texting, mine kept deleting my mesages wen i was half way through wrighting it, and it aint funny. most of the timei just wanted to chuck it on the floor and stamp on it...
can anyone tell me what is the maximum no. of messages v can store on the u600???
help plz!!!..i have just got this phone and is g8 however when i got to make a call its gives a message saying "rejected" and i cannot send any messages..does any1 know how i can solve this problem??
Whilst i love the phone (this is my 3rd Samsung) i am on my 2nd phone, 3rd battery so far (had it just over a week now-think Carphone warehouse are sick of the sight of me!)-Battery is the worst i have had on any phone-usually running out within 24 hours. Over the weekend it stopped texting altogether and would only write one word before saying 'please wait' and then resetting itself. Not overly impressed so far!!
Just enquiring on this phone.
How many SMS messages can it store? as i tend to not delete mines so i'm looking for one that can store alot.
when the phone has incoming call, does that touch-sensitive buttons work (answer and reject) ?? or that must first slide-up ??
and i heard taking photo with this phone has a long time (5-6 secs) cause of it's autofocus, is that right??? and is this normal for all autofocus phones ??
and for it's menu, is it possible to download theme ??
1. does it show downloaded JPG files (from usb or bluetooth) in fullscreen ??
2. and can we set MIDI file for ringtone?
3. is TV-OUT cable in it's pack??
4. can we download theme for it's menu??
To Martina, who's worried about this phone forgetting words from the dictionary - all Samsung phones do this. As do Nokias. In fact, the only phones that remember every single word entered into the dictionary are Sony Ericsson phones. The reason Samsung phones forget words is because they have a shared memory - with the exception of any external memory, which is only used for data storage. The memory that the phone operates on is shared, so the more words entered into the dictionary, the more it will forget as it has to get rid of old words to make room. Also, the more texts you have in your inbox and outbox have an effect on how much the phone will remember. Trust me, this isn't a fault. It's just something you will have to learn to live with - if you decide to keep the phone.
