Press the Power Button once-- You can lock it that way too

i herd you had to press down on the d pad and then the power button.

No Just The Power Button once

is this right or is there another way like
pressing the dpad and then pressing [i] button

No just the a quick pree of the Power button

glad to hear the phone locks the keypad itself after ending the call as i might forget to do this how long would you say it does this 2 sec?

You can Edit the time to Auto lock. mine is set to 30 seconds,

can you save the ring volume and talk volume so you dont have to adjust this all the time
so you set both where oyu want them and thats it

Still sorry that you cannot load games and apps on your phone from your PC. It is a main reason why Nokia phones are so popular. Of course Samsung wants us to download overpriced games from its site, but in the end I think it is a marketing error

to ilmx,,,,i put this on this forum and d900 forum that you can only download java ota and to put games on by cable,, or bluetoothed over from comp or fone,, you need some software to get then on your fone,,i also put that this is why i miss a smartfone somtimes..

is this phone completely touch sensitive...including the number pad?? also, how is the sensitivity of it...is it as bad as the lg chocolate??? thanks

Just rec'd phone & overall, found better than the d900.
Unfortunate that you can't save directly to sd card & battery talk time is not very practical, even at conservative usage.
Be careful in regards to the screen, as I can see the real potential for problems with cracking.

Anyone know were you can download free themes games for the u600??

and once downloaded to the pc and transfered to the phone how can you get ( games ) to work, keeps saying unsupported format :S any helP??

its exellent that you can have a video of your friend and have it play when he rings you , lol

1 will it still play a mp3 rintone when it plays the video when your friends ring you

1 when you said you have to press [i] to unlock the keypad then press the end call button I thought you only need to press the [i] button to end the call ??? as it says here in the u600 manual this

The [i] only unlocks the keypad. Once you've pressed the [i] you have to press the END CALL button.
Or failing that Just Slide the Phone shut...

if i hit the call button by mistake and it started to ring someone but i wanted to cancel the call before the person picks it up this is what ther other person ment

Stii have to press [i] then END CALL or Slide the Phone Shut...

the cancel call button isnt actualy workin to cancel calls, it work to exit out of menus and different applications, and also to delete text but it doesnt allow me to cancel calls!

It doe work to Exit menue's And it also works to end calls..

does this phone cancel calls that you dont want to make thats what i am getting at

also and this is the big but when you make a call and the slider is closed and you use the phone book to call your friend and when your finished and hang up by pressing the [i] or the power and hangup button to exit a call does the phone lock the keypad stright after this as once you hung up i want to put it back in my pocket or do you have to manualy lock the keypad yourself every time you end a call in this way ???

so you can recored video stright to the extra memory card and pictures this is good news as the d900 did not let you do this
