i had this mobile for a year and it was fine but i accidentally broke it. so i bought the same one again and after only having it for 2 months it started stuffing up. i took it to the phone repair store and they told me the motherboard was corrupt and it wasn't professionally made. very upset. i wouldn't reccommend it.

this was my mom's phone before samsung jet :) the camera definitely has a nice resolution but the phone usually hangs up. hang is the illness of this phone. damn*

its quite user friendly, had it for 21/2 years, gave me good service until the ear piece had a problem then everything just seemed to fall apart. not so bad!

uhmmm...guyz....i wanna buy a new fone at least nxt mnth...i jzt wanna knw wat fone shud i buy...im a music lover..and also a an avid txter....i want a fone that lasts long....has good music quality...and a long battery lyf..maybe 2 days..plz guys..help me choose...im torn between Nokia 5130 and samsung u600..plz..plz.plz...help me buy the best fne....plz guyz

i wasted my money buying this fone...:(...i hate it...first the screen started flickering then the audio then the camera now a complete black screen!! bad bas product

This is an awesome phone! Got mine back in Dec 07' and it still runs great! Only complaint is the slow camera but that's about it. I'll be retiring this phone soon and getting a new one in July. Thanks Samsung!

i bought this phone and it really looks cool but after 1 year using it screewed up first no cam, then no audio, and then black screen, i think that it's a big waste... i won't buy any sansung stuff again

i used this for almost 2 years... suddenly no sound at all lol.. and touch response becomes slower as it ages. it was a good phone until the sound broke. im now buying the LG GD510 pop

I have had my Samsung u600 for 2 years and not a thing has gone wrong. The only thing that is bad about the phone is the camera because it takes about 10 seconds.

this mobil wen i used in the first time am very happy cuz its gift from my girl frend but now is not work ihave problem in my screen its kebol dimm't

can anyone tell me how to set streaming setting? As i go through web option to youtube or by OPeramini 4.0 or 4.2 the message alerts me streaming setting wrong, i try many sims but same massge. please tell me if any one know how to run video through youtube.

I bought this phone back in 2007 when it was released and i still use it till today lol!

The camera is very slow in taking pictures and it was a pity i coudnt change themes on the phone but back then it looked really good. My next phone is gona be a samsung wave! Wewt!

i have samsung u600 pink ..
and i Love this phone so much ..

but nOw ....

i hate this !!! ...
im using this samsung u600 for about 6 months ago and it reaLLy sucks ..

the fLex is VERY VERY VERY "WEAK" !!! ..
and when it comes to camera ........
very sLow when your taking pictures ..
the fLash is nonsense ..
and aside form that you cant edit photos when you save it directLy into memory card .. :-(

im ver disSapointed on this phone ..
i hope samsung wiLL read our coMments about their items ..
and take actions as weLL ..

TWO THUMBS DOWN FOR THIS PHONE !!! ...

This phone is absolutely the biggest pile of rubbish I have ever used. I purchased this phone back when it came out in early 2007 and used it for a few months. It is essentially a little toy made out of flimsy cheap plastic that mars and dings easily and readily. The plastic screen cover is utter junk, low-quality plastic. The sliding mechanism is decent but if you are used to precise sliders like high end Nokia's you will be surely disappointed by the lateral flex.

I did not have so much problems with the four touch sensitive keys, what I found disturbing was trying to text on this phone, it is really counter intuitive and the bluetooth configuration if connecting to a headset is dangerous to use at best.

The photos are okay in good lighting, I find the flash useless and worthless. Since the phone has a tiny digital image processor it takes forever to take a picture, the auto focus is miserably slow. Since the phone is limited to 50mb of internal memory, some of which is used up by the os the phone requires you to use a memory card to store media. Now reading anything off the memory card takes an obscene amount of time, 20+ seconds. By creating many folders you can speed up your access of the media but it will still take a very very very long time. It is useless as a media device in any way shape or form.

The screen at the time was fairly nice but quickly starting amassing dead pixels. I had about a dozen after two months. And to top everything off the reception is awful and the the speaker is not as loud as I would like. The call quality is also relatively mediocre, but the reception is a disaster.
