I believe the VGA 640x480 resolution is for the video during the video call with the front camera. Video recording is still CIF 352x288, which is already good.
But the upcoming 6500 Nokia Slider will be 640x480 !

Just got an email from Vodafone and they said:
"the handset launch has been deferred approximately by a month. The new launch date is 15th of June 2007. The price for the handset is £192.00. Unfortunately, the handset is not available to Pay As You Talk account holders." Hope this helps

Is this phone a quad-band or tri-band cuz i found a several sites that say that is quad-band???
And also they say it has 70MB of internal memory?!?!?!
And every1 is talking that that OPUS (Optimal Power Usage Solution) is just a marketing trick???
And what about docment readers???

This phone is out in Germany i think.
See it on the German Samsung site.
It says the battery life is 5h during conversation and about 270h during standby.
Some reviews are saying that u700 and u600 are having better sound than SE Walkman phones thanks to some chip but u need better earphones to see it.I dont know how much are these informations true but i would be glad if they are.I will buy this phone anyway and only thing i hope is that keypad of u700 is not touch-sensitive like u600's.If anyone has some new information let us know please.
