The U700 will be released officialy at the 29th of June. So about a week. Vodafone is allready testing the U700 and when they are done with it, it will be officially released.
Ive have seen the phone in real life and it looks REALY good. On my opinion it looks much better than the u600 because of the nice silver colour and the mirroreffect. On my opinion this is the most beautiful phone on the market at the moment.

i dont think Optus is getting that phone, apparently Optus doesn't have a contract to supply Samsung phones. I was tolds Vodafone would get it and Telstra. Dont know about Three. Back in May Allphones was advertising that phone as 'coming soon'. Hopefully 'coming soon' isn't too far away now.

I'd like to get this phone while I study abroad in UK depending on price. I'll be there for 2 semesters, if I sign a 12 month contract, would this phone come free?
If not, I will consider a more affordable handset and use pay as you go.
Anyone mind educating me a little about contracts in UK (fees, charges, etc)compared to USA?
Appreciate it.

Hey Boris, how's the battery life in your phone?
I'm planning on getting one but then I know that slim phones are notorious for their horrible battery life, especially on 3G.
