well, unfortunately, i own a silver u700 and honestly, its just 2 months, but its silver is now peeling off.
but other specifications are great. especially the camera.

Can you use mp3 tracks for your ringtones on this phone?
Have many people had problem with the silver coating peeling off? I hear this is a bad fault??

Me too, i have a problem with the sensitive button. you need patience when using this phone. but the other features are good.

dont by the phone is only 7 monthe old and it already give problems with the charging on the side and the battery didnot last for 1 day must charge it every day

THIS PHONE SUCKS!!!
i am using it right now!
i can NOT go on the internet, send pictures, or email.
its really terrible.
i mean the only thing iss great is the camera (both)
but i mean really, otherthan that, it sucks
the battery sucks too!

turn your phone sideways (memory stick slot is on the top side)...
i hope you understand what i am talking about...

the sim icon on the upper screen means that there is memory card inside your phone it flashes when its reading.
as for the messages mine can hold 500 but you must have a lot of data in your phone.

Hi,plz can any one tell me wht does the sign of sim represent on the screen?
one thng more,the mobile has a capacity of 500 msgs bt it show me the msg of full memory at 200th msg.why is it so
plz help me out.i am in big confusion......

dont slide the phone up and down really hard do it softly and gentle i mean it coz i did it hard and my flex broke, buy a case for the casing because it will still peel off always update software because theres always something wrong with each one

im planning on buying this u700. my mom will by it in china. but i have read many negative comments about this phone so im quite confused whether to buy this model or not. im worried about the touch sensitive button what so ever that your talking about. pls give be some advise or feedbacks about this sensitive buttons.. im worried of encountering the same probs with others. im thinking of buying a black one coz many are saying that the silver one's easily peels of. tnx in advance. im waiting for your reply.

this is not a touch screen phone is it?? why is there someone who posted saying that this phone's touch screen is horrible? pls post your real opinions about this phone because im thinking of buying this one. tnx..

I had the same problem explained earlier, phone color has gone with in very short period. Also with very careful use i had to replace its ribbon twice, other than that i think this is really nice phone as far as facilities concern, it has almost all the features you need.
