> In reply to kiki @ 2008-08-30 09:11 from Sw@EHey Kiki, sorry this is long, but if you stick with me, this should help you.
Listen no phone is perfect, and there never will be. A phone will only be good depending on what you mainly want to use it for. Firstly, understand that this phone is impressive as a whole, meaning it's above average in overall performance, so already It's a good sign you'll like it. Secondly, I would say the best thing about this phone is the camera and the customisation. This phone is packed with so many customisable applications, you can seriously make it as unique and as personal as possible, it has to be the best customisable phone on the current market. Also, it is packed with the best image and video editors that I've ever seen. Secondly, the camera is very very good. I wouldn't say it's top notch or the best there is, but as shown on GSM's review, the photo quality and overall performance was better than that of the Nokia N95 8GB! This would be due to the pack of features the camera has besides auto focus (image stabilisation, WDR, Face detection, macro mode etc)That is more than Nokia's. Probably the only problem i found with the phone would have to be the browser (this would only affect you if you use mobile internet regularly, which I don't) and probably the sound. The sound is loud enough in a busy street but I guess it could have been louder. The addition of a stereo speaker would have been excellent, but don't underestimate its sound quality, because it is truly the clearest and best audio quality you can find (This is where Samsung truly shines, in their audio/music)
So, unless you use mobile interent like crazy, or you live next to 24/7 construction sites, this phone should be the one to go for. It is truly a great phone.

> In reply to eb @ 2008-08-29 23:01 from M@T2Right on! No reason to change your phone for something so little. So many people look at things half-empty and they never realise that there is no such thing as a perfect phone suited for all and there never will be. All the positives and strengths are easily forgotten as soon as the simple, minor faults are discovered, and then they go off waste their money on another phone. People have no idea. Besides, the Soul is Soul and I would prefer that to an N-Series from Nokia.

> In reply to lpg @ 2008-08-29 16:05 from nX5rLpg, I just want you to know, it's not just Samsung who do this. The all-mighty Nokia also do that, the sound ascends (gets louder) as the ringing continues. It's stupid I know, why it doesn't just start at the loudest, who knows!

Hello everybody!
First of all, sorry for my poor english, but i'm a new owner of the u900 and i need some help.
The point is with sound, when i have an incoming call the melody starts very low for a few seconds and then suddenly changes to the highest level. It is an abrupt change not a gradation, so i think it is not, at least, very common.I tried by changing the profiles and i've even talked with the technical support of samsung but they are not able to tell me if the phone works properly. I'm in time in my guarranty to change it so if i have no reply maybe i'll do it.
another point to ask you is the battery: it only lasts 2 or 3 days max. It is normal?
thank you

> In reply to eb @ 2008-08-28 16:52 from M@TiWell, Moe's U900 unit was definitely a faulty one, so his impression of the Soul can't be a good one. When you have that kind of experience, suddenly you don't care anymore about the strengths of your phone. Really. What is meant to be a strong point of this phone is really strong (camera, music, customized themes, design etc.), as GSMArena mentioned in their review.
