There is a zoom, its the up-down key on the left hand side of the phone. Just found it now.
Still trying to find a better way to increase ring tone and in-call volume as it seems abit too low.
Still if you play around im sure there will be a setting somewhere

Yes you can change the Message tones to MP3 on the U900 here's how.
1,go to the Settings menu in the bottom right hand corner of the menu screen
2,enter 1. Phone Settings
3, Press select on 1. Phone Profile
4.Press Options on Normal
5, Scroll down to edit and press select
6, Scroll right to highlight Text messages
7, Scroll down to highlight Message alert tones
8, Highlight Change and scroll right
9. Scroll down to 2. Use my alert tone
10.Now choose your Tone, MP3 Included
11, Remember before leaving this menu to SAVE settings

Hello!
I have now U700 and after reading all about U900 I can't wait to have it!
But it's still not released here in my country and I don't know if it'll be released or not!
Any one know if it's going to be released in the Middle East (UAE)? If yes, when?
Thanks!

just got this phone and would like to express my opinion on it.
firstly, i know ALOT of people want to know this, you CAN change SMS ringtone to mp3. i wouldn't have got this phone if you couldn't. you goto the edit profiles bit - then you can edit your ringtone/sms melodys. you can have the phone ring+vibrate at the same time (this might be standard now, but my previous phone is like 3 years old and it couldn't do this ;p).
as people have stated, the ring volume isn't the best - but its not THAT bad. only solution i can think of is to edit your mp3's in a sound program to make them louder (i use adobe audition) hopefully someone finds a code to fix this problem.
theres no self camera, closest you can get to this is the videocall button(took me ages to find it, top left of the keypad) which uses the secondary camera(VGA) and you can see yourself, but you can't take pictures =_=
you can store 500 sms on the phone
also the camera has no zoom? or am i missing something

In regards to the call quality / loudness. It's not as bad as some people think. the speaker is very close to the top of the phone so hold it a bit lower and you should be fine.

I just got the phone, and it's beautiful! But yes, the call volume is pretty poor =( only if ur in a quiet room is it legible. it's strange b/c my ring tone volume is really loud, and the music can be really loud too. so the hardware is there, but yeah, i guess we just gotta get some code to switch it on somehow. for now i'm just gonna change it to loud speaker to hear ppl in a noisy area.
just so ppl know, i got the soul gray colour, i think they only sell soul gray atm. and in real life, the colour is a much darker grey than in that pic. just look at any you tube video review and you'll see the actual colour of the phone. to be honest i actually really like the 'real' colour, rather than the one in the pic on this site.
