I had the Soul a few weeks ago...I had it for 2 days. I wasn't impressed at all. Once you get past the novelty of the touchpad, it becomes an average Samsung slider. And the camera was very poor. I went back to my Nokia 6500 Slide, which I haven't been able to beat yet, and flogged the Soul on eBay. I had none of the problems with the sound that people are talking about...but then in 2 days, I didn't really make that many calls on it, so maybe I just didn't notice. The phone also felt too large and clumsy when it was opened. The lack of shortcuts and personalisation - in comparison to a Nokia - also annoyed me. I got bored of this phone very quickly, and I've no regrets that I sold it.

Took the U900 back as the volume was rubbish!!!!! I noticed how many others on here said the same thing. I called Samsung to ask if it was a fault etc and they were very rude, explained it was not anything that had been brought to there attention before. So if you have had a similar problem, call them!

the camera quality is not good at all nokia 6500s much better and its only a 3.2

Again a high end phone that's not one,look ,ridiculous battery,it means listen to 3 songs,dial 2 mates and send 3 sms and you're down by half .oh 5 mp camera ? samsung made a 7.1 mp plus 3x optical zoom 6 years ago,now they have 2 10mp camphones and one is a true optical zoom with a proper lens that pops out.only in korea.why ? because they send us the crappy ones. stop buying samsung.they only do half a job and look good,but never last

This is a cool mobile unit excelent design and easy to use, guess people who hates it doesnt have the capability to operate it....

i think this was intended to be a copy of the nokia 6500 slide if anything. Note the stainless steal look of the body. if you are referring to the touch as being l ike the LG, i dont think you could be more wrong. the U700 is the same, look at the U700. i think they are just trying to stay in suit with the rest of the series.
And personally, even if they are trying to copy LG, Samsung has the upper hand, they are more reliable.

Does anybody know how i can change my soft keys i have 02 active as one and keep getting charged for accidentally pressing button oh my days thats all i want to do is delete the internet button from my display screen please please can somebody help me

Lovely looking phone, design good, plenty to customise, touch pad works well good display, only problem is if you want to hear your phone ring or be able to hear conversation then dont bother with this phone

yes you can use the magic button without opening the slide, you simply unlock the phone

i'm amazed by this phone..wnt to buy soon but 1 thing, can i use the magic touch panel in playing music, answering a call etc without sliding it?
