it depends really on your own preferences. the main feature of the tocco (F480) is the really responsive touch screen. Depends if your a touch screen phone kind of guy? Texting can be quite hard to get used to at first. The camera on the soul is slightly better, especially with the image stabliser, which has a big impact. But the tocco is more appealing to the eye, and alot more fun. Its quite hard to decide between these two handsets as in many respects they are similar. Both are fairly reliable, not many returns. I think touchscreens are marmite; you either like them or you don't. I would personally go for the tocco. But before you tie yourself down to a contract or forking out £350 it's best to have a real good play around with the phone first, and decide if the touch screen novelty will wear off in a matter of weeks.

> In reply to Zane @ 2008-11-17 13:10 from wrbjI have this phone, after reading reviews I was really worried, however as a phone and camera its ok. Personally I feel it will be on pay as you go for about 70 quid quite soon as it is not that all singing all dancing, I previously had Blackberry Pearl and it was great compared to this. The one issue I have is that when you text the phone is rather heavy when the slide is open so one hand texting is tricky. Internet access is also not impressive, maybe though that is my sevice provider...all in all it is not that impressive.

Just a reminder of my question people. Thanks lol
I would like to know a little more about its video capabilities. I know its QVGA video recording, though I'd like to know two things;
1. How many frames per second (fps) is the video, so QVGA @ ?fps, as I've seen both 15 and 30 fps on the net, and not sure which is right, as they're both very different in terms of quality
2. How can you tell how many fps a video is?

According to the manual:

Your phone accepts microSD™ memory cards
up to 8 GB (depending on memory card
manufacturer and type).

> In reply to Charlotte @ 2008-11-18 18:19 from 0Ryqi suggest U900...
phone's features are fantastic!
camera is 5 MP, 2560х1920 pixels, autofocus, image stabiliser, video(QVGA), flash
music is very good!! surround sound when using the
headset.. also some cute and unique things in this phone.. (look at the reviews and you'll find what i mean..)
i've been using these for about 3months and i encountered no problems at all!
but it's up to you....
but hope this helps you.. ^_^

does anyone know if there's a permanent fix for the low sound volume on this phone yet? Any firmware upgrade? I find it strange that this is a PHONE but the phone part of it really sucks! You can't hear ANYTHING on the phone! You either need to use speakerphone or an earpiece.
