ive read alot of positive reviews about this old classic, but mine are not too positive, at the time when the phone was released in south africa it was highly expensive and came with next to no features as the other phones in the same price range or below.
camera spinner wore out twice but was repaired quickley by manufacturer.
i do agree on the comment that the buttons and display was good, it had nice big buttons so older non savy tech heads could still feel comfortable with a flip mobile.
samgsung should rethink their late aproach and consider working out new phones that are similiar to this but with todays standerds of features,.

My mother love this phone,and dont want another phone because the buttons is big and she can see clear on the phone. But the battery is not working so well anymore.
Buy any change do you know were i can get a battery for the phone.

I had that phone few years ago (I think 03 to 06), and in that time was a perfect mobile.. I have it now, and I will never forget him... perfect...

i still have this phone.i realy love this phone.the problem is there something wrong with the internal speaker.i dont know where to find people who can fixed it.although the feature are crap, but i like the speaker sound when people call.its clear and loud.

i have phone last year, i sell it bcuz its poor on features. no bluetooth, only polyponic tones. even cant develop its pictures.. its just a piece of crap!!! not a friendly user & its price b4, its too expensive!!!

i had this mobile phone for 1 year . i didnot like samsung mobiles but this one is really great i liked it so much but unfortainly i had to sell it laitly . i advice you to trie it itis really coooooooool

Hi there, i need help here. i just bought v200 from my friend. the problem is, every incoming call / miss call / received msg, the online displayed on the screen is the number, not a name. i can't find any option in the phone setting to enable this. Hi, I have had my V200 for longer than I can remember and it's is still a great phone. Has been dropped more times than I care to admit which eventually caused the display to blank. Not surprising a connection had come detached. As I have damaged hearing its loud ring is brilliant and with the vibrate on I never have a problem with it. With the external multi colour flashing light it's good for meetings too when set to silent. It has some cons but then nothing is perfect.
Looking for a replacement now but so far not really satisfied with most options as they all seem to suffer from more problems due to the 'enhanced' specifications and fragility. Battery life is also worse, that's progress!
Maybe there are other people out there who want a phone with basic facilites, a good camera that is rugged and has a loud ring?
Look after it and keep it for when your all singing all dancing latest flavour of the week goes 'belly up'.

I used to have this phone and i miss it like hell. Right I have a N95 8g but still i think my v200 wass a lot better!
