> In reply to Petko @ 2010-01-07 02:30 from 3PJ$Hi Petko,
The phone comes inbuilt with Maps and within the maps you can use SatNav. The SatNav is A-GPS and Vodafone charge for using the SatNav. You cannot use Maps unless you are a Vodafone customer as you need to be logged onto the Vodafone 360 service. So basically unless a 3rd party SatNav app comes out, you really need Vodafone.
The phone has many plus points. The negative points at the moment are the email problems (the email rely's on the Vodafone 360 service again) and there are synching problems. Other than that the internet crashes now and then, although it is a very good broswer overall. I cannot really think of any other negatives as this phone is brilliant overall.

> In reply to Gama @ 2010-01-06 08:52 from pXLxHi Gama, whilst you raise some interesting points there I must point out that a lot of people will wanna use the phone to most of its potential. The whole idea of having such a phone is to make use of its resources. For starters, the 360 Apps cause very little hassle as they have been checked by Vodafone. They may not all work perfectly but they do their job. Email may not appeal to everyone, but if you have such a function you wanna use it. Maps is a great function for location purposes and no doubt Google Maps will be introduced in due time, which will be available to download from the Vodafone 360 site. You can download from Google as well now but its a weak version and not properly compatible for the phone.
If your not bothered about Apps, Email, Maps (only the inbuilt one on the phone) then you can still enjoy the phone very much. But to maximise full use of the phone, you do really need the 360 Service.

I have this phone, and i never but never used the email, social networks hi5 facebook...And for what i see i getting rid of a lot a headache since it has bugs in the sync, i have wi-fi at home, and friends houses, i am not email fan,i dont see the need to receive or see an email at car, trip,shoping...if i want that i turn on internet, go to the site on my phone and evoilá! i dont use the sync accounts, i still dont understand the needs for that. I use wi-fi or a isolated use of internet. To use it at full...just use at office,home...And social network the same. Only use at home or if i need to see something , turn on internet. why bother with sync problems and bugs through the 360 apps on phone etc...?

See although the iPhone lacks some features, it more than makes up by being one of the best phones out the market due to its interface, innovation and Apps. I have the H1 and it is a superb phone no doubt. However in order to make full use out of the phone you need to be on the Vodafone network. Without the 360 service your Maps and email will not work. Also you can currently only download Apps from the Vodafone 360 site, which is a great shame as Linux is an open source and this phone has the same amount of potential for Apps as the iPhone. So the phone's restrictions are letting down a potential beast.
The phone has bugs like the email synching problems (mine is fine) and the internet crashing (this is hopefully due to be sorted). However I would recommend this phone but only if your on the Vodafone network. Otherwise no Apps, Maps, Email.

> In reply to Matt @ 2010-01-01 18:02 from 3xrxWell,
Between this h1 and HTC...go for the HTC HD2, with 4' screen etc etc...Its full loaded of high tech, that one , for me is the only one i would switch mine for. Many Iphone users, friends of mine, say that mine is cooler than iphone, and i did a great buy, and some Mags say that too, even that 360º is giving problems, Iphone hasn't inovated on design since its release and software is not open as linux.

Well if this is a great phone? yes! One of the best, but!! there's a catch!
I like this phone and i am getting well with it because i am not using it as a Social network like 360º are saying to use it! I blocked it from those craps!
THen I dont use to sync email...if i want that i have a laptop or wifi and use the web browser instead of sync accounts, witch has a lots of bugs, it makes the phone slower ...I use it only as multimedia , movies and songs etc and as a normal phone . Using it as a 360??nahhhhh, i dont sync my phone a long time ago! The 360 service is very new to use it now, has a lot of failures for now!

Ok, screen is amazing, it reacts very good for a touch screen. But, that's where it sort of all stops. The idea of 360 is great. But, synchronising your mail is a pain, the chat is lacking big time. The merging of all your google, hotmail and facebook contacts have to be done manually. Ok, in the end you have 600 contacts merged, nice, but does it really make it so much clearer? Well, I'm a bit bitter now, was expecting a great phone but in the end it can not make it true. Not the phone for me anyway... And reading reviews on the internet, I'm not the only one!
