purchased X100 on 15-5-2005 and now after 18 months sudden struck on it and sms cant be sent without any fault
otherwise its fine
some keys are not presses properly

I purchased the Samsung X100 in July 2004. For the first 12 months it worked perfectly fine. After that I started facing the problem as described by the others.
The phone restarts while making or receiving calls. This is an intermediate problem which I face for 4/5 days every month. The remaining 25 days it works fine.
The problem is so annoying as it prevents me from making an IMP call or receiving one.
The volume of the ring is very less that I miss many of the calls just because of it.
The navigation is fine and simple.

my phone hangs when making recieving calls. it has done so for the last half year now. before that it worked just well and had no problems with it. i wanted to smash it to the ground a few times, good thing i didn't. i cannot make the problem reaccur when i want to, i think is just random. ive heard it has to do with network signal fluctuations. in areas with many signal dishes or anything like that, it gets decoyed. too bad, nod i'd stay away from samsung phones

2 yr old X100 got sprinkled with H2O, u know I've crazy twins :-) Dismantled, dried in sun, assembled. Display is out. Incoming is on - unable to receive; outgoing - can't dial; coz keypad is stuck. Service center -replace d board. Downloaded phonebook, SMS to PC. Pl. tell how to download the sound files, they are v imp. Those r first sounds (crys, laughs, murmurings) of my twins. Any specific s/w. I have data cable. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem with my SAMSUNG X100A. When I attempt a call it just restarts. It's only one year I bought the phone. Can anyone help me what the solution is?

change the body cover of phone to solve the problem.or unsrew the phone fully and remove body.keep phone in that position for two days.no problem for 2 weeks

hello
i am having a problem with my x100. its stops all the time and it restart.it has become inbearable!
can I update the soft on the phone? is there any other solution?

I have been using x100 for the past 2 years without any problem untill about 1 months ago when it started to hang.The phone hangs every now and then when picking call or when making calls from the phone.When this happens,it does not respond to any key including the Off key but subsequently switches itself off.It goes on like that again . I had SIM Card and try found same problem , so Please can let me know any
solution to make my phone OK

I thought i was the only one until i read other user posts. This phone hangs for no apparent reason, then reboots, its soo frustrating, i am getting myself another phone...

Its highly crap one.Its a cute phone and user friendly, but its veryu very sensitive to power problems and u knw within 2 min whole motherboard has crashed.Reason is very minute one where i used other charger instaed of my original charger to charge it.its not even 1 year and its of no use now. servicing is horrible.When i contact to samsung authorised customer care they said this model is blocked now.how bad.they also suggested its costs high to get repaired better to take new one! started to hate samsung! lost whole belief about it.

is it possible to increase the amr playback length from 1 minute to 5 min??
The applications in this phone cannot access gprs network,any one can help me??

Great phone,i have been using it since 2004.superb camera,good picture quality,MP3 play-back quality is really good,very good MP3 player,display is crystal clear!it doesn't hang often.its tough,i fell accidently many times,but it still works fine.Good One from Samsung!

problem solved!!!!!!!!samsung sgh x100 have a common problem of hanging and restarts when making or receving of any call.it will become a serious ccompliat at last.i read all the reviews i did not find any solution to this prolem.i am using this phone in last eight months.at last i solved the problem sucess fully!.it is very easy .you cannot spend any money for solving this problem.just a simple technical work.any one want these tip send mail to me:vlm_anoop@yahoo.co.in . i will send to you.i cannot sure this will work ur phone,it sucessfully worked in my phone.
