guys,this is just a classic hp..
what can say about this hp is about its long lasting battery...my habit to recharge it when it totally EMPTY..sometimes, i couldn't realize how many days it still alive...it also tough and rigid..
yes, this hp is very simple since it does not hv camera..but i still love to use it..

i have this phone for three years and has never let me down. i have bought other phones (also from samsung) but i still keep it for emergencies. its very tough(i assure you), very basic and easy to use, and you would'nt miss a call coz it has a strong ringing sound. if you are not so into other features and needed the basic calls, txt, and organizing scheds...this one is the best

This phone just goes and goes and goes. Like the fricken Energizer Bunny or Bruce Willis in Die Hard..
I hated the lack of features on this phone, and i have had it for a good 3 years. I even got a new phone, broke it, and came back to this one.
I have TRIED to break this phone. kicking it into walls. Dropping it from 3 flights of stairs. Running OVER IT. Slamming it onto a desk WHILE OPEN.
While this phone has next to no features, if you need a phone to make calls, and send TXT, this is a very cheap and RELIABLE option.

iv had this phone for exactly 2― years and it is a good phone.although it hardly has any features,it is a strong,reliable phone which will do your basic calling and smsing.the keypad makes typing easy and the 1000 contacts on the phonebook is a great feature.

From the 1st sight,I fall in love with it...
I bought it 2 years ago,n u cant believe how many times I dropped it,n mashaAllah its still working..
I am not intending to change it or buy an other one..
n If there is no Camera no MP3 no Ring tones it doesnt matter me,as usually we make mobiles silent in college n as for the camera I bought an MP5 so where is the problem :p

The phone plays a tone when you power on/off.
I didn't found any way to turn off this tone.
In the sound settings menu there is no item for this.
Do you know how to disable this noisy tone?
If there is no solution, I will return the phone back to the shop.

it is really durable fellas.... mine fell in the water (5 feet deep) and was there for about 1.5 hours before being fished out! still, it became alright after 2 days of drying in my room.... and also, great colors... worth its money...

I wanted a basic phone without all those bells and whistles that you don't really need but end up paying heaps for. This model suits me very well as I use it only for emergencies. It is quite compact so you can easily keep it in your pocket. I like the flip-top as this avoids accidental activation. Depends what you want, but I am happy with this model.

If your phone is set on some other language than english and you use the characters of that language, it charges you, like 1 special char values 3 or 4 normal ones.

This setting is under Phone Settings in the phone's menu. It's called Active Folder. When off, you can view who is calling on the screen after opening the flip. You can then answer or reject the call with the soft keys.

You can switch off the on/off-tune by pushing # and holding it for a while. This will switch off the sound completely, but if you switch on the vibrating ringtone you will still be able to hear calls/messages. At least, that's the best option I could find so far to get rid of that annoying tune! ^_^

Select that and select Off. I'm not sure if this works because my phone is the X210. I figured maybe it'll work with this phone too. Hope it does.
