how do download pictuers for computer to mobail..........................................­..

i'm about to buy this phone, and i was worried... is it a resistant phone. Has anybody casually dropped it???
becuase i want a cellphone that can take a couple of hits

could somebody tell me is the display size of the x480 is the same as the display of x450 or it is smaller?

This phone is great. Fits in your pocket very well. Have a nice design. Have some small problems, but which phone doesnt have it? for the purpose of it (small, nice design, lightweight, is very cheap), well, its very good...
If someone is not satisfied whit this specs, then buy some other phone, heavy weight, bigger, uglier, with a cam, with mp3... they will have others problems too...
I recommend this phone, specially for who want to dont worry about to carry out a cel phone in the pocket...

p.s e700 is the best phone i have ever had and i want the person who stole it to give it back! :(

HELP...
i bought this phone a month ago, before that i had an E700 but it was stolen :(. the thing i hate most about this phone is not knowing who is calling before you answer it. it automatically answers when you flip it open. is there anyone who knows if i can turn this off? help me please :)

I have to disagree with Tamar, goto YOURMOB.COM it's got far better stuff and I use them all the time when I download to my X480.

i need some answers ppl plzzzz!! im using R220 now, and it views all missed calls even if its from 1 person. Does this fone do that? Or it only shows one of each number missed??
Another thing, does it have the option to vibrate first and then start the ringing?
Does it automatically answer the call once i flip it open?
Is there a "silence" button i can press when the fone is ringing?
please just email me and tell me, cause im thinking of getting this fone! thank you so much

My phone doesn't have ABC mode in SMS.. it's T9.. you have to choose if you want ABC or 123.. why is my phone diffrent from yours?

It's a mixed bag. Overall, I quite like
it, but my old phone was very basic.

The features I like are:
* small.
* no antenna sticking out.
* flip phone.
* easy to navigate menus
* reasonably priced.
* no camera (not allowed where I work).
* Java games.

The features that annoy me:
* the ring tones are truly appalling.
Here's an idea, what about a tone that
actually sounds like a phone ringing?
* external indicator light only flashes
when a call is ringing (what about message
received or missed call).
* message composer always defaults to ABC
I have to press a button 3 times to switch
into T9 at the start of every message. If
I was in T9 mode composing the previous
message, why not stay there?
* The capitals mode is a similar deal. If
you want to capitalize someone's name mid
sentence you have to hit a button 3 times.
* no button to flip it open.
* very smooth finish and small size makes
holding it a little precarious.

This is an incredibly good phone, I bought it and it hasn't given me any problem. You can have ring and vibrate at the same time, it's the default option!!! Also, the thing that REALLY annoys me is that you can't select T9 as default; you have to select it each time you write a message. I've written to Samsung asking if there's a way to recttify this.
Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to make smses automatically store on the phone's memory [it holds 200 whereas the SIM card only holds 20].

Only two major gripes, otherwise the phone is excellent

It's a nice set with beautiful display screen but the only thing with which i'm not satisfied is its ringtone volume.. its very slow even sometimes walking in bazar i often miss calls. i'll be wondered if there's any trick to increase its volume, of course from its own highest level.

what size & type wallpapers do you download? on the samsung website it has options 128x128 jpg & gif, then the rest in jpg 128x96, 176x144, 176x178. the phone has a display of 160x128 so i would assume you would get 128x128 & because it supports 65k colour i assume jpg would be better quality but a bit bigger. Any thoughts? Cheers.

I looking to me the samsung X480 and there is something I'd like to know before I sign anything. How many sms's does it hold?? This is important for my decision so any help would be much appreciated^_^ Just send me an email, thanks!!

This phone is great! I bought it because its design.. It's the coolest phone i've ever seen! The color fine red really makes a diffrent. The phone doesn't look like ever one else..

Yes the Samsung x480 is a fine mobile however the service light not indicating missed calls is a major problem. I was very surprised to find this phone lacking this option. This seems to be a big oversight. Yes please if anyone knows how to fix this then please let us know.
