personally
this phone is a waste!
ive had it since christmas 06 its now may 07 and the battery lasts 2 days, has deleted all my photos twice and freezes up
very disappointed...

i have troubles setting the alarm... i set the time and type (let's say morning call) but then nothing. i cannot see the alarm i set nor can i delete it... it doesn't do anything... it doesn't ring... :(

got it working with my pc finally! the best way is to download the software from samsung's website and connect your phone with an infra red link.

it doesnt have a snooze. the alarm tones are the same as the ringtones.they are very lound and anoying cos they dont start softly and dont increase their volume slowly.
the #key is the silent mode key.
the sound quality is good.the ringtones are hopeless.
u dont have a choice to disable the dictionary permanently, u have to do it each time you write a message also not permanently choice for small or large fonts. pictures of the menu you find at http://www.mobile-review.com/r...300-en.shtml

I saw someone commented that this phone doesn't have a snooze. Is there any other way of setting multiple alarms, or whatever?
Also, is there any way the phone can be silent without vibrating, so fully fully silent? (for example press # for a longer time, that works with the samsung I have now)
And last question: How is the sound quality? And i mean of the phone calls, not the music. My current Samsung phone's sound quality when calling is quite crap. So is this one better?

there are about 5 people where i live that has this phone, all of ours have buggered up. the screen gets black lines on them and its really hard to see

For those trying to figure out how to use the IRDa to transfer images, you can now get a IRDa dongle that fits in the USB port on your PC. I got mine for £4. Connects at 4Mbits and works really well.
