Totally satisfied, after 4 years of use still functional inspite of weakened battery. Got COM-port cable to retrieve photos, although 0.3 Mpixels isn't the top, but phone is for calling! It's true, almost unbreakable:)

Well i have one of theese that i use as my emergency phone, he fall when i was riding on motorcycle, he even had been used to open beer LOL xD, and Still Works at 100%. old phone but one of the best i ever had.

One of the good looking phones i used to have.. was good sturdy, i was completely in love with it.. until i exchanged it. it was a great mobile.

Got mine in Nov 2005 and I'm still using it til now. I've also been pretty careless with it, accidentally dropping it many times. but it's still working okay. I don't have any problem with the battery, considering that I've had it for almost four years now. I don't like taking pictures much, and I don't use it to take important photos, so the camera doesn't bother me. Overall, I love my x640, and I'm surely gonna miss it when I have to part with it.

its the best phone i have ever had,i have had it since 2006 till recently when it dropped into the water but guess what,its still working but the screen is blank.i like it

i bought this mobile in 2006 febr. and using till nw july 2009! its a very stylish mobile. its a very strong mobile!! i hav dropped 5+ times, 2 times in a marble floor!! still, dint break!! very nice sound, though it has a small speaker; gud display. at present, at times, i'm not able to make r receive any calls!! overall its ok..!!

this phone is the worst i ever had. I turn back to nokia after being a fan of samsung. The side button is useless and keep on shoot photo whenever its place in a pocket...the battery life is sucks...i gotta charge every 4 hours...damm it

i have had this handset for about 5 years and it still works 100%, holds charge longer then my LGU990 and Htc diamond.... awesome phone

my samsung mobile is not working now. the franchicee who repaire the same told me there is a short circuit problem in the pcb. he wants the circuit diagram of the p.c.b of this phone to repair it. from where do i get the same. i realy love to use this phone becoz of its slim size and space and it is very handy to use. please help me it tracing out the circuit diagram of the phone.

i have had my phone for probably about 2-3 years and it was working fine. until one day whne i charged it and went to turn it on it woukld just be about to get to the menu screen and then bang it turns off. it can load the insert sim card bit but nothing else. i was woundering if anyone knew how to fix it. cause it is such a good sturdy phone. also the phone does have a usb connection to the computer that i have been usingits called the usb data cable for x640.

I Got This phone way back 2006. though i have no problems with this phone, i intentionally sold it to my friend(Happens to be my co-employee)which i regret in later years, knowing i let go with something valuable. i really regret i sold it to him. This is one great phone- a durable one. but lacks mp3-feature infra-red, bluetooth- that made it as its downside. although i'm using w300i now, which i think a better phone, but i do still miss my x640. the ringtones were fabolous. the screen was nice. any one who got this phone, i can say...you did the right thing in buying this one great phone. design-8/10 features-6/10 Performance-9/10

I got this handphone somewhere end 2007 second hand, last sunday my wife accidently left the handphone inside her blouse pocket and she wash the trouser in the washing machine...just imagine fuzzy logic mode of my washing machine..adn by suprise after left under hot sun in sunny day of malaysian weather the handphone can work as usual without any damage.Serious i realy cant belive my self

I love this phone. I have had it for 3 years and it still works almost perfectly.
It's pretty durable, I've dropped it a few time but about up to 10 times so some of the flaws can be because of that. I've also left it under the sun and it goes a bit weird if it get s overheated but after a bit it goes back to normal.
The sound quality is great I love it. It cuts off a bit but thats only started recently so i guess its only coz its old.
The only real problem is that there isnt any way to connect to a computer or other phones. You just have to MMS things.
Its a great phone and i love it :)
