I got this handphone somewhere end 2007 second hand, last sunday my wife accidently left the handphone inside her blouse pocket and she wash the trouser in the washing machine...just imagine fuzzy logic mode of my washing machine..adn by suprise after left under hot sun in sunny day of malaysian weather the handphone can work as usual without any damage.Serious i realy cant belive my self

I love this phone. I have had it for 3 years and it still works almost perfectly.
It's pretty durable, I've dropped it a few time but about up to 10 times so some of the flaws can be because of that. I've also left it under the sun and it goes a bit weird if it get s overheated but after a bit it goes back to normal.
The sound quality is great I love it. It cuts off a bit but thats only started recently so i guess its only coz its old.
The only real problem is that there isnt any way to connect to a computer or other phones. You just have to MMS things.
Its a great phone and i love it :)

It's a great phone but I need to change to a blackberry. Is there anyone who can tell me how to transfer my contacts from my samsung to the new phone without typing one by one?

I have this phone for 3 years now, and it was never damaged. Battery life is still like the first time i bought it. I have 2 phones now, but i can never say goodbye to this phone. I'm just using it now as my spare phone for calling, coz this phone never lets me down whenever i'm on call.
Too bad this phone has no other options for connectivity or photo sharing.
Hoping i can change the housing, coz the physical part is the only thing that makes it seems to be damaged. Nonetheless, my phone was never repaired!

I had this phone for three years. Now Im getting a new phone. Although I kept nagging about the bad cameras, Im going to miss it, because its actually great!
I recommend people who likes durable, strong phones, to buy it. (Obviously don;t try to break it on purpose ^^'') But so far I only have one scratch on it!
For people who was commenting on the low battery-life, it's actually not true. It only doesn't last long only if:
1) you were playing alot of games/taking pictures/whatever and
2) you overcharge it often

at first,i was attracted to it bec the phone's shape was the trend 2 yrs ago and im still using it until now.i could access internet (yahoo.friendster,google) and read and reply to my emails but transferring my photos to computer costs me a lot because i dont have any usb cord that fits it.i thought its already provided when u buy it but it has only charger that uses the usb port,i tried to look for a usb port that could fit it but could'nt find ,until i've found out that i could transfer my photos from this phone using mms and send it to my email address so that's what i've done for the past 2 yrs and im still doing it until now.it costs P2.00 (philippine peso) to send 1 mms,so when u have 100 photos to transfer,that cost a lot.so im trying to look for a better phone to upgrade.but the good thing with the photos i've taken from this phone were clear when they are already transferred to my email and computer and what i enjoy with this phone is,i can access internet anytime but it also costs money.for u to save money,u can access gprs for emergency use only.

I had this phone a few years ago.
The one thing that really annoyed me about this phone was the little button on the side that takes pictures. A good feature when the phone is opened and you want to actually take photos. But when the phone was closed and something in my handbag happened to press on the button it would keep taking pics which would eventually just use up the memory.
Apart from this annoying problem I really enjoyed the phone.

this is avery nice phone.. very strong.. i've been using it for 2 years and everything still seems to work fine... though becuase i frequently drop it, there are already scratches at the back.. but still, it hasn't failed me... in terms of the specifications, i have to admit, the camera isnt good and it is a bit boring, but what's the use of phone anyways, for call and text... if i wnt portable entertainment, i have my zune for that.. :p

Can anyone tell me how I can get my pictures from the phone to my computer. I bought a usb cable from the markets and the disc was no good I have tried downloading the drivers from the net but it still isnt working.

Hi, I am having this phone for last 4 years, still it is working fine and I dont have any Idea to change it as of now, It has great/SEXY looks, excellent performance, very durable and good audio and camera quality. I wonderwhy Samsung has not come up withits varients!!!

dis 4n woz amazing. i had it 4 3yrs with absolutely no probz at all. once iturned it on nd none of da keys would work. people could still call bt i couldnt answer it. i would receive msgz nd i couldnt read it. i knew tht was da end of mi 4n. itz not extremely attractive bt itz a great 4n 4 evry whoz not very interestd in bluetooth nd music tht much. it may b an old 4n but trust me, itz very relyabl...!!! i now hv da nokia e65 nd it absolutely sucks!!!! no1 should buy tht 4n... hope mi advice is gud 4 u...

its a good phone on the whole, has great looks, is small and light and its very durable. ive had it for 3 years and i dont intend to change it. however it has no infra red, no bluetooth, no mp3 and its camera sucks!! + u need to charge the mobile every 3 days - that bothers me! but on the whole its ok.
