Hi please help me just got this phone i use t mobile. i inserted my sim card but it keeps telling me no service. what's going on?

ive been using this phone from 2003/4 not sure.. long time.. the +side of this phone is the voice quality when u talk.. it filters noise around you and transmit only ur voice.. hence a perfect conversation.. this phone is not a multimedia frendly phone.. Solution.. buy new phone for multimedia purposes..

Guys,

Please answer 2 queries:
1. Is there a way to download external java applications on this phone?
2. How can we set recorded/downloaded audio as ringtones, as it gives message: "not allowed"

Some day I am gona ask the Samsung company head that what they really thought while bringniong this stupid useless phone to market.

hi, me have just managed to get mediafiles from the x660 to the pc. used pcb113bde(oem) usb data cable and software from the samsung webpage (Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager). first several drivers and devices (the one from the cable install cd-rom included (Samsung Mobile USB Driver)) didnot work. desperately as last resort me tried to let windows connect to internet and automaticaly find drivers for three not properly working devices in device manager (samsung mobile usb device ii 1.0; samsung mobile usb modem ii 1.0; wmc acm). after those bein installed both programms (pims&file managerd and mobtime cell phone manager) can acces and transfer the mediafiles.
hope this can hlp at least some of u to deal with this pitiful mobile phone.

i've been using this phone since 2 years..
and its crappy...
if u r a music freak like me....
then pls i beg u don't curse urself by buying this phone...
this phone has got nothing to do with music....
it dosen't have an mp3 player dosen't have enough memory to save atleast one song...
moreover no radio too...

the camera quality eh..
don't ask...

nothing very useful about it....
useless phone....

when im o mxit i cant seem to abbreviate anything with out removing the dictionary first. and then my abbreviations do not get saved for next time. am i doing something wrong?

how do i transfer images & mp3 from phone to pc, pc to phone? which data cable should i buy? i heard that samsung D500, D600 cable is compatible with this cellphone.
