this phone is a piece of junk .well,i can't put mp3 songs on it although i saw in GSM arena that i can .infrared port doesn't work it can only send data and phone number .the screen is bed .every thing is useless.i want to hear mp3 songs i can't !!!!a true nightmare also i can't neither files nor games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if anyone wants to buy this phone,just stay back i need someone's help

advantages
*small, light, looks nice
disadvantages
*vga camera not megapixel, no bluetooth, inferred only transfers numbers and date schedules it cannot transfer multimedia data, camera feature cannot be locked hence if phone is in your pocket it takes multiple pictures of your pocket, data cable requires some sofware, max. memory for 1 game / application is < 100kb.

I like this phone,but, IR port won't work. I was hopeing i can get it fixed,but after i saw all these complainings about IR,i gave up. From now on,i will download data using USB port,if it's called like that in english.

do not buy this phone. other than via MMS, there is no way to transfer images. the infrared port sucks, does not work.

When it's new you don;t have to many problmes, but after it passes an year it start to loose his signal during calls.

this is a pretty good phone its a nice size but if you have it iin your back or pocket and something touches the side camera button it will not go off and you will have a bunch of pictures of the inside of your purse

u sure will get all kinds of connectivity error coz x660 doesn't support file transfer via infrared!! u can only use its infra for sending/receiving phonebook entries lol. as mentioned, x660 works well as a secndary phone ONLY.. it's good but not ur primary phone who's got all the functions u dream of!!

Hi,i downloaded Pims&filemanager 2,i connect the phone to my computer via infra,and when i try to send a picture it says connection lost,unknown error and shuts down the program,but the ifra works proparly,Can someone please help me !

The phone is a great phone. I love it. But the problem i am having is that:
1. The Infrared do not work even with fellow phone.
2. You cant use a voice recorded music as a ringing tone.
3. No bluetooth; infact no connectivity.
4. Can only record video not more than 4seconds
And all these problems are making me sick of the phone. So, if anybody can help me out, let the person reach or send the solution to paulo_monday@yahoo.com i will be happy to see a stock full of solutions.

this is a great looking phone, its small... but, i have a problem, my infared doesnt work!!!!!! and u cant set voice recordings as ringtones... :(

this phone is ok but the Ir doesnt work so its not that use ful in that department and the music files are rubbish the video doesnt last for long. this phone is for bussiness people not for normal people.

I've got 1 of these,vodafone branded but :(! It's a gr8 lookn phone,and i find it quite user friendly! But i find it very irritating that the IR doesn't work,it doesn't have bluetoot and mp3's cannot be used as a ringtone!! Video recording is sometimes JUST 6 SECONDS!!!! It has a quite good camera quality and battery life!

i bought this phone for AU$199 and i only had it for 2 months until i was sick of it and gave it to my mum. a few months later i was using my k300i which broke down in just a few months then i got the sony ericsson w300i. i hate this phone.
Pros:
- MP3 ringtones
Cons:
- IR Only supports contacts sending
- No files can be bigger than 100kb eg. mp3, images and videos
- Video recording time max. 10 secs.
- No bluetooth
- Pricey when i bought it

I don't have any problem with this phone. Just try to download the Samsung PC Studio 2.0 PIMS & File Manager and you're now free to do anything you wanna do to your phone.
