X700 has Bluetooth, go to the Samsung official site and see, I guess they overlooked it on gsmarena... as for infrared, who needs it when you have Bluetooth

Finally, finally!!! samsung finally decided to launch this piece in INDIA!! its 30th dec
and its still not available in bangalore. what the hell is the marketing team doing? gone on a year-end vaccation?? plz learn from nokia or you guys will be where you are!!Also , your pricing is bad for this phone!! should have been 2,000 bucks cheaper!!

I thought it wouldnt be this expensive...
Before it was available i read at multiple sites that the price would be somewhere around 250+. But now it seems 300++++++

x620 costs about rs 7000/- and sam people just added bluetooth and card slot and doubled the price, they need to revive the price for this model comparingly with x620...at least let the introductory prices be made little lower...no doubt its a big rivalry for all the existing models esp with SE

It costs around 500 leva in Bulgaria, which is around 250 euro or 300$

this is good Phone Samsung try best but we want Infrared also in it and the other thing is that samsung firstly Increse the tone Volume compare to Nokia, samsung volume is too less.
hope the price also very less.

Finally the X 700 is launched in India on DECEMBER-09-2005. It has a 1.3 Megapixel, Triband, Bar type phone with advanced features like GPRS Class 10, Bluetooth /USB Connectivity, Stereo FM Radio, Video Recording and Messaging, External Memory (Trans Flash) and Mobile Printing. It is priced at Rs.14,699/- The Price is nearly twice as expected. But still a wonderful phone. Great Features...Stunning Looks...(Freightening Price too!!!)

For all those who have not seen the phone. I have seen a pre production sample and let me tell you that it is stunning. It is far superior to Nokia 6230i in everyway and even beats Sony Ericssoon 750i except for 2 MP camera in SE. But the 1.3 camera is stunning. The QVGA display is simply awesome. Best of all the price. It will be lower than 6230i and far lower than SE 750. Expected release date: mid to end December. Keep your fingers crossed. This will be by far the best candy bar phone in the market when released!
