in ur PDF guide, i saw THE QURAN application.
is it work in x700??

I could download many applcations @ getjar via wapsite..
but, there are couldn't works in my x700.


There are two added application in my fone:
OperaMini and Mig33 (unfortunately, both are cannot gimme maximum performance..))

BUT ITS OK!!
I still love this fone!


my first x700 was stolen, but i bought the same phone. and i using til now..

Connect X700 with PC through USB cable or bluetooth and open Samsung PC Studio 3 software. Make sure that you can see "SGH-X700 Connected" message. Now, go to "Manage Contacts and More". This will open "Phone Editor" and contacts will be loaded from SIM memory ( if there are some contacts present in SIM memory). Now, select "ME" option in upper left corner of screen under phonebook tag. This will load the complete phonebook from phone's memory.

To copy all contacts, press "Ctrl + A" keys from keyboard which will select all contacts. Now, right click from mouse and select "Copy" option. Now, select "SIM" option in upper left corner of screen under phonebook tag and right click from mouse and select "Paste" option. This will copy complete phonebook into SIM in about 4 / 5 seconds.

If you have some contacts already in SIM memory, then keep pressing "Ctrl" key from keyboard and individually select each and every entry using mouse and then use copy & paste option.

Note: I don't know, if newer firmware version has this "Copy all to SIM" option or not. Now i am using Samsung E200, which has this option.

hi, i need to copy all my contacts from phone to SIM. according to the manual, there's supposed to be a menu that can do this, but i cant find that menu anywhere. all i found was to copy contacts from SIM to phone, but not vice versa.

anyone can help me please? thanks

dude this phon suck....ssss....i am using dis phon for 2yrs......it have allll kind's of prob's ....from screen flukring to fm radio .....,,,sound......

I am using this cell for 2 years now. Cell is awesome, but beware of display issue. It has croped up more than four times in a span of 2 yrs. The same was experienced with one of my frnds.

i wanna ask that i have this phone n it was off frm 3 months bcoz our charger got,so i went to a phone franchise n bought a new charger the executive said charge the phone for 3 days continuously then it work as it was working earlier ,but the phone is charging frm past 5 days n it is not switching on n cant say it is getting the charged or not ?

i've tried the java reset code. It does not work. Then tried to install java games via usb, the clown comes, installation starts and then hangs and restarts.
Still cannot get into the java world section

Try JAVA reset code : *2767*5282# which deletes all JAVA games/ softwares.
Then install any one JAVA game/ software through WAP or USB cable. Then try to open JAVA WORLD folder.

But you can recover your memory card's files easily but in one condition: Don't write or save any new file on memory card. For "OPERA MINI" problem:
Select “Opera Mini” software from JAVA WORLD folder and select “Options/ Application Settings”. Now you can see four questions. For every question, just select this option:
“Yes, always. Don't ask again”.
And press “save”. Also check that you are able to open WAP sites through WAP browser.... If not, clear the cache of wap browser. Restart mobile and try again to connect internet through Opera Mini. If you see “Failed to connect to the internet” message then you have no other option except “EXIT”. Now, again open “Opera Mini”. You will see EULA of Opera Mini. Select “Accept” option. Now, you are on start page of Opera Mini. Now you can browse the internet.

Open it and download pdf guide named as “Install games on X700”. Then open it in Adobe Acrobat PDF reader or any other good PDF reader software. I have checked this file before writing this post. I can assure you that the pdf file is OK.
And, in this PDF guide, you can see full instructions about how to install Softick PPP software on PC successfully.

firstly, i want to thanks to usman in your contribution posts here...
it has been useful for me and may be other users...

I have this fone for 2 or 3 years..
Im still have the problem's, I cant install the java applications to my phone,.
(one of classic problem in SAMSUNG phones)



I want to install some java applications and games, whice are compatible with my x700.
But my problem is, I couldn't install the PPP softick in my computer. It can't run in my computer. (I have to try in many of times and different computers..)
what's the prob's and how to solve it?

but, until now, i can't open it too.. (your PDF file maybe contains errors.. I saw only blank.. with yellow line..) :(

would u like to check n update it?
