please answer- I can't use any other options while using MP3 player in this phone why is it so?...1 new problem has occured -the phone is unable to select whole play list..so i have to select song 1 by 1 after listening each song!

Superb!!! One of the greatest phones ever manufactured by Samsung!!! And yet still available in the market!!! What a wonderful creation!!! I'm still using this for the past years!!! Mabuhay!!!

I recently lost my phone..... I have set a lock on the phone. Is there anyway I can make the phone unusable. Can I do something with the help of IMIE code.

This is an awesome phone. I have been using it for more than 1 and a half year.
Photo result is really good in daylight. Bluetooth and Edge rocks. MP3 sound quality is excellent with earphones. (PS: Do not compare it to SE W-Series sets.)
FM anttena is not very good but still manges to catch all stations with a little bit of moving around. The "Stop Watch" with multiple laps option is gr8. Even the latest SE K810i does not support that many number of "Laps".
The feature of "Answering machine" have made me fall in love with this cell. I do not need to pay my Carrier to retrieve voice box from them.
BOTTOM Line is, it's a really cool cell with so many fetures at such a reasonable price.

Sorry brother, i did not try bluetooth connection to install games. You can easily install games through USB cable. Now, i am using Samsung E200 which has improved software features (good copy features of D900).

Answer of EDGE related question:

I have been answered this question on 27 FEB 2007 (approx. 1 YEAR before) in this forum. This was the answer:

X700 has EDGE Class 10. Please confirm that your service provider is providing EDGE feature and your area is included in EDGE network. Samsung X700 is 100% EDGE compatible because i can see the “E” logo when i uses "Telenor" sim but with "Mobilink jazz", it only shows “G” logo. There is nothing to do with internet setting on your phone because EDGE uses same GPRS settings.

To check the EDGE class of X700, enter #*3273# in standby mode . You will see "EGPRS multislot class 4". It means that it was already adjusted to class 10. Again enter above code and you will see "class 8". Again enter code to see "class 9" then after entering 4th time above code, you will see "EGPRS multislot class 10". Now, your mobile has been again switched to EDGE class 10.

I have used X700 with Kingston 1GB MicroSD card (also have 512MB SanDisk card) for more than 16 months without any problem. Now, i also have Samsung E200 and this 1GB card (also 512MB card) works well with both X700 and E200. What is the mobile that your friend is using? Restart your mobile and then open memory card's folders. I would suggest both SanDisk and Kingston brands. Both have excellent performance.

i want 2 buy a memory stick 4 my X700 but 512MB sometimes stucks in my phone (when i take that from my friend n insert it in my phone).can anybody suggest dat which memory stick is the best for X700(memory wise)?

To Amir:

To copy a contact entry from phone memory to SIM card , on your X700, select Contacts in standby mode..... this will load the phone book....

select any contact name and click Options/View.... then select mobile number of this selected entry.... click Options .... then select option no. 3 .... Copy to .... SIM and click Save . New message will appear that Copy Completed .... That's it.... You have successfully copied a "contact Entry" from Phone to SIM memory!

you can copy all contacts from phone to SIM by using Samsung PC Studio 3 software....
Connect X700 with PC through USB data cable and open Samsung PC Studio 3 software.... Make sure that you can see "SGH-X700 Connected" message.... Now, go to "Manage Contacts and More" .... This will open the "Phone Editor" and contacts will be loaded from SIM memory ( if there are some contacts present in SIM memory).... Now, select "ME" option in upper left corner of screen under phonebook tag....
This will load the complete phonebook from phone's memory....

To copy all contacts, press "Ctrl + A" keys from keyboard which will select all contacts .... Now, right click from mouse and select "Copy" option.... Now, select "SIM" option in upper left corner of screen under phonebook tag and right click from mouse and select "Paste" option.... this will copy complete phonebook into SIM in about 4 / 5 seconds ....

If you have some contacts already in SIM memory, then keep pressing "Ctrl" key from keyboard and individually select each and every entry using mouse and then use copy & paste option....
