To omair: you can install only Java Based applications. MS office cannot be installed on Java Based phones. Mostly Symbian Phones support this feature.

its very hard 2 install java game/another application for this fone...

if u want 2 install some application,

from ur phone browser....

u can install a few of software...

u can install more,, but u can't open or play it.....

I want to thank you for all the informations about this phone that you provided on your website. It really helped me a lot, althought I haven't give it a try, but I'm glad coz I have more information and I like tweaking so your site is very helpful.

I'm from Indonesia, and I just got this phone, but I didn't buy the new one, the dealer just have the secondhand phone. Otherwise I'm very glad becoz I got an amazing phone with an amazing quality in an amazing price too.

Realy great phone iam use only this brand.useig from 4 years only this brand.ihave used.R 620.R220,x-100,c-230,c-130,c-160,and now x-700.the great phone usins from one year.

Opera Mini 4.0 is out of Beta!
But they are not providing the latest link for x700, only 3.1 link is available :-( , it seems that we have to stuck with OM3.1

I am using this phone for more than 1 year and it is great phone and never gave any problems. I am not sure about the other samsung phones but i like this phone, really works great.

Yes, unfortunately it is not possible to set MP3 ringtone as MP3 player. You need to use the default messages for sms message.

hey everyone...
could you tell if it's possible to set, "sounds, or Mp3 tones as my incoming message alert?
i read someone that characteristics of Samsung fones is that it's not possile, if that'
s true, then it's sucks a big time! i wish that's not the case, please help!!

To Ali: I have checked it in quiet or vibration mode and removed all kinds of sounds like "extra tunes" but phone call disconnecting sound did not deactivated. This means that samsung has removed firmware bugs in newer versions and your X700 has newer firmware.

In my cell, the disconnection sound does not comes when the cell is on vibrate or the quite mode. Please check.

To Priyank: As i know, there is no way to deactivate this sound. This is present even in quiet or vibration mode. (usman)

TO USMAN: Dear Usman, I have one query. I want to deactivate that sound which comes after cutting the call. It annoys me too much. is there any way I can put off that sound. (PRIYANK)

Very good phone. I'm completely satisfied with !!! the only problem it works very bad with Motorola Stereo Bluetooth HT820. And radio will not work on speaker only through the headphones.
But I really like this phone !!!!!!!!!!
