there is not a secret reset if the phone is not working att all you must bring it to a shop ore somrthing near you to let it flash with the latest firmware that wil work i think

Had this phone for 2 years until I lost it. The only problems I encountered were 1) very poor reception and 2) sometimes when I change my ring style to vibration, vibration with melody, or melody, the phone would freeze and continuously play my ringtone until I removed the battery.

For such a cute, fragile looking phone, it actually is quite durable. I've dropped it numerous times on concrete, tiled floors and grass and it still functioned properly (besides reception & freezing).

Its a very cute statement phone but the only problem I had with it is that the signal isn't very good. If you hold the phone closer to the antenna the signal is very bad. Other than that it is so awesome (I've had this for 2 years now)

Hi, i accidentally blocked someones number after getting a txt. I've managed to get that number off my block list, but now i cant txt it or recieve txts from it. Any ideas??? Please!

hi all, i have had this sweet thing for almost 2 yrs. neva had any major problems with it except for a very low volume.other than that this is a cut , sexy piece of work.

i wasnt able playing my mp3 and i tried deleting all the files, it took too long so i took out the batary, now the phone is blinking the first diplay blue screen andi cannot do nothing
please someone help
my phone is new i just need a secret reset.

I have this same phone, the same colour and everything and it hardly pick up service and sometimes it blanks out and sometimes it freezes. I took it to a dealer and they can't fix it. Please anyone can help me to fix the problem because I love my phone. My boyfriend gave it to his brother who is a technician and he can't find the problem with the phone so can someone please help me?

FOR ALL OF YOU WHOSE X830 HAS STOPPED PLAYING MP3 FILES, PICTURES ETC... HERE IS THE SOLUTION!
Hard reset your phone, type in *2767*6263#

- after typing it phone will turn off/ after turning it on everythings works!!!! I did it yesterday with mine! Note: this will reset EVERYTHING on your phone and delete items stored on your phone (i.e. music, pictures, sounds, etc). - but not items on simcard! All the settings will be restored to factory setting (ringtones, wallpapers etc.) but nevermind... the phone works again:-) ! GOOD LUCK!

hey ya,
i also got this phone at a very expensive price, i must admit i loved it to bits, the size and not to mention the memory capacity but unfortunately after 6 months i was trying to download a song from the internet then it just froze and gave up on me, took it back to the dealer only to be told it was beyond repair.
so please be careful

hi

i got the X830 for less then a year, then it just did not want to work anymore, i send it away to see wots wrong, and they told me its byond repairs, and now im sitting with a phone that i only had for 11 months paid alot of money and no one can help me, im stay in cape town South Africa

I have this phone. And when I first got it, I could get Mxit. Then it disappeared. Now when I try to get Mxit again it says "unsupported file format" Not too sure why it's doing this now. Anyone know the answer?

i really like the phone iv had it for 2yrs now but i must say the only probablem i have is that when im going through my music either voice r recorded it just cuts out n sometimes i cant use my option buttons other than that i love my pink phone
