I have my z170 for about 3+ years and my orginal battery (that comes up with the handset itself) is dead, I have tried many batteries other than the one that comes up with the handset itself..
but none will last for barely 8hours being idle.
I am quite confused whether I should buy new battery(again) or just leave this cool handset for new one.
I dnt wanna leave it too ..
guys some good suggestions, would be handfull and good.

this is my first SAMsung phone which i bought from my salary..i love all the specs of this unit..but i already gave it to my younger brother becoz i already have B3410w.. im a great fan of SAMSUNG phones..

Good Day!

I just want to ask about,Where can i buy the LCD of this z170? I have this celphone for almost 2yrs,since it was broke,i wasnt use already,so i want to fix it again now. Where is the best way to go celphone shop that sell LCD? Cause i already ask here,they said there is no available in here.

I have this phone since 2 years now! It's great, I have clean it with water :D, after the water is gone, it worked perfect! I Use earphones, big volume, at least 24 hours of battery! amazing!

...for ur email use a browser like opera mini....but i dont really think it can stream videos unless u use us built in browser...if u have more question feel free to email me at..(Oh no! spam!)..nevermind,just post it here...

...heres a glitch i personally found on my own....on camera mode,when u use frames it automatically reduce the size of ur photo to a smaller resolution...when u switch the camera from back camera to front camera it automatically reduce to 640x480..and when u switch it from front to back it auto to max.....now lets get back to the topic....switch to front camera then set resolution to max,then switch to front camera it auto to 640x480,pick any frame,then switch back to front it auto to max....there u have it,...u have a frame at max resolution..press capture then it says "capture failed"...there u have the glitch!..hehe

..guyz,Ive been using this phone for 2 yrs...and yeah its speaker is a lil bit treble..but i usually use the earphones,..anyway,the cover for the usb port (The one used for charger/earphones) is easily destroyed...my cover was gone and whats left was a rubber thingy....hehe...and i think it doesnt support multiplayer games via bluetooth..it tried it,

ive been using my z170 for almost 2 yrs now but still i dont know how to activate my email settings. can anybody help me how to activate my email settings? i badly need to email my friends. i would highly appreciate those who are willing to help me.. THANKS!!

This is my 3rd year having Z170 for my daily cellphone. Battery still can standby for 1.5 day, not so bad. I only visit Samsung's SC once to be reflashed, because of my own foolishness installing unknown Java apps. I dropped it at least twice, from 1 Meter high to concrete floor, and make its corner dent but even the battery cover won't loosen or crack. I mistakenly put it in my shirt pocket during rain, I don't realize it because of slim and light, when I drove my motorcycle, get wet and it is still on. I can use it as modem instantly in my netbook's ubuntu..I really love it!

i own a samsung z170,i can browse internet but only for text and pictures but if my browsing or i browse w/c includes videos such as youtube.com I cant view the videos,it says i need to install something to my phone.need assistance.thanks

the tkfileexplorer always reject from connecting to my phone, always says that Error: the communication link is lost.... what should i do regarding this.. thanks
