dont look from its size..slim..gud camera,gud sound n the most importnt is great speed for browsng..

it the only phone ive ever had that wont fully lock keypad properly. it keeps dialling 111 from my pocket. anyone know how to completely lock the keypad?

very good cell phone, solid built, fast internet speed, good battery life, 60mb internal memory, slim, sexy,two colour back cover and i love it.

Hey I was wondering how do you put pictures or videos onto your computer using the samsung z170 iv tried by connecting the USB and it wont connect and Iv got a memory card in the phone but I dont know how to connect it through my computer nothing comes up on my computer ?? ... Can anyone help me out .. !!

this is my 2nd years using this phone and there is still has no problem using it. for entertainment its just fine with me i can browse internet by netfront or with opera.
view video in you tube like a pc just open and then streaming right away.
for audio just find not to loud a little bit 'treble' but when using earphone its very loud and clear.

whenever i receive pictures in these phone, it always become smaller and the bytes of the pic is reduced.. why is that? i already check the settings regarding on mms, but the pic still the same when i tried again to receive some pics..its still small.. pls help...

Correcting some mistakes in my before comment:
If you were looking for a symbian compatible phone adn this wasn't one, go look for a smartphone....
The only VIDEO files it can play is 3GP, it can paly a lot of media files.
The phone is the same thickness as the bottom part of the motorola razr v9...
I meant if the phone was atleast 4cm shorter it would be perfect... not just 4cm(that would be weird).
PS: The phone is incredibly light...

This is a great phone... got it for $32 from Knox City Dick Smith locked to vodafone UNBELEIVABLE....
It has 3G, Bluetooth, Video(w/recording), music, microsd(probably up to 4GB) and much more....
The features listed are all accurate... and great...
Most phones don't have much internal memory, this one ahs 55mb... and you could possibly survive on it for atleast 2 weeks...
I dont know about symbian but it has document viewer... I palyed a Powerpoint presentation and looked at a PDF just yesterday.... If this phone dosen't have WORD, or powerpoint... get a smartphone like the Nokia 3120/3121 which are symbian compatible.... seriously, looking at the price of this phone... you'd be lucky it had a colour screen.
The phone size is comparitively small to something like the Nokia N95 or the Webslider, but you can see videos greatly, DON'T NOT buy the phone because of the screen size.. its actaully great screen size for a phone...
It is actually very slim, it's the same size as the motorola V9's keypad part.
The headphones are actually special samsung ones that only samsung can make, so don't break the ones that you get with the phone...
the videoing is suprisingly good for 3GP.. and the camera is good for 1.3 MP too....
The talk time maybe 3 hours but watching and playing media files dosen't take much battery power, so its all good.
The phone has a customizable button on the right and can play practically all music files (from .wav-mp3-m4a-mp4-aac etc)
The only media files it can play is 3GP sadly... but you can just install samsung PC studio(Which comes with the phone), and use the video editor on itto save your desired video to 3GP, or you could always download 3GP Files or convert to 3GP with a convertor from the internet....
The only problem is the games... But apparently you can add games with a freeware called TKFileExplorer2.2(search these opinions for the how to add games )
but you can also add games downloaded from samsung through the phones internet...
The phone is actaully very tall, if it were 4cm it would be perfect.. it's even taller the the n95 when its not slided up, but i guess nothings perfect.. the size and lack of variety in colour is probably the main reason why it costs so less, yet it has an intresting/fashionable and professional design....
So I like the whole design and the overall effect of the phone...
Inconclusion, the phone has a great effect overall and is better than most $150 phones these days...
but I guess opinions change when you actually go and look at the phone in a shop or something...
