i have this phone and i wanted to download more games. I went to this website, www.mobile9.com where you can download games, pics, etc. However, I could not tranfer .jar game files into the games folder so i had to put it in the other files folder but the files cant be opened/played. Is this phone unable to support these games? but it is Java games..and i don't use wap so just how do you download games in this phone???

is this phone that excellet as what u guys said. i just got mine a month ago n after a week in using it...it went BEEP!!!!'........ ut of a sudden. the sound was so loud until i almost go deaf. i sent this phone for repair for 3 weeks. after took back n used again, the following day same problem.....i really upset with it.
worst is i bought it with 1000. n the h/p store will only take back with trade in price 400. very disappointed!! n this was my birthday gift from my hubby :(

i am eyeing this classy mobile.. it resembles one of my older mobile years back.
1.Can anyone tell me does z230 have flash or photolight ?
2.Does it come with a speaker like other samsung ?
3.Is the 3G function reliable.. as in good ?

THis is a heaps cool phone because it's so stylish and makes a statement. It's also a 3G phone which makes it's even more versitile. I have purchased the LG U860,Nokia6280 and the motorala razar and i think this phone rates in the top 2 best phonethat i have purchase!!!!

Is it possible to read *.pdf, *.doc? I've tried everything but it does not work. What is more i've found that *.doc, *.pdf are not supported in manual (p. 75).

just got this phone, it's great (9/10 from me)..just got a couple of questions
1. when someone calls me it only rings for about 10seconds and stops, is there anyway of extending the ringing time?
2. the front lcd seems to switch off after only a few seconds of shutting it, is there anyway to idle it on standby?

Good things: nice design, feels good in hand, perfect key touch.
Bad things: the external clock cannot be always visible, the internal screen could have better resolution, USB cable not included in the boundle, no timer, no stopwatch.
Wery bad things: I bought it today at 11:30, at 16:00 it was already broken - the screen is white with some vertical lines and there is no response to any key; you cannot even switch off the phone. After removing the battery and switching on again - the same story, the phone is definitely dead :-(
A real shame Samsung!

please answer my questions
1) Does this phone support wma for music player but cannot play higher than 192kb/s?
2) Is message tone and incoming call very loud if i use any mp3 or voice?
3) Is the camera clearer than x700?
4) How long does battery last if i use one hour of music and thirty minutes of other functions?
5) Does this phone support up to 2Gb Microsd slot?
6) Does Music player play songs louder than x700?
7) How many hours does it play songs before battery goes flat?
8) Is headset like my X700?
9) Does it have speakerphone any ls it louder than x700?
10) Can this phone adjust brightness to one and no lights for keypad?

You can adjust front display for example, you can put digital clock or your own text.

i have found on samsungmobile.com download section, the samsung studio 3.0 that have all the things for the management of files and to pass things (music, pics, etc( from the computer to mobile and the invers. that program makes the syncronization of the mobile with the laptob bluetooth for tranfer files or to mobile or to laptop computer or if u have cable by cable for a normal computer or laptop that dont have bluetooth, with the cable that cames with your mobile
